OK, last night I asked for suggestions where I could get some good sampler packs. I got a number of excellent suggestions. BlueMist vaping is one of them. I'm working me up a five-flavor sampler. Give me your opinions if you've sampled any of these flavors. Thanks

Rob's Blackjack
Robacco
Smooth
Morley
RY4
Applejack tobacco
Caramel tobacco
DeKang Tobacco Type
Robacco Caramel

My suggestion may not help, but I suggest you try other flavors beside tobacco's if you haven't yet.

I've tried non-tobacco flavors and with few exceptions, I don't like them. I can handle some of them as long as there is some tobacco base in it. Sorry. Maybe some day. Just not today.

I've only tried three from them, and I'll tell you what I can:

Kettle Korn - this was a sample he gave me, I would have never purposely ordered it (although I might buy a small bottle now and again in the future after trying it). Now, I couldn't vape this one long or often, but every once in a while it's actually very tasty. It tastes JUST like hot buttered popcorn. 100% VG, great vapor, decent throat hit.

Cherry tobacco - fairly ick. No amount of steeping has helped. I mean, it's not nasty. It's vapable, so I put it in my "if I ever run completely out of juice and I'm desperate" box, and not in my "it'll be a cold day in hell" box (there are indeed bottles of juice in this box, all of which should really just be poured out).

RY4 - I actually like this. Now, if you're looking for an RY4, look elsewhere, cause this ain't it. I have no idea why it's called RY4. RY4 is technically tobacco and caramel and vanilla, even though a lot of American juice suppliers have taken great liberties with that idea, but this is really none of those. I taste NO tobacco in it, nor really any caramel. I can taste the vanilla, and it has some other flavor that I simply have no idea what it is. I saw a review the other day where the guy said (and he liked it too) that it tasted like Duck Sauce from a Chinese restaurant. I dunno about that. It has decent TH, decent vapor, and a very light, sweet flavor (and not fruity at all) that is a great palette cleanser for me. After a day or two of the tobacco flavors that are my mainstay, it's a really nice change of pace. I know you prefer your tobacco flavors so you might not like it, but you might try a sample just to see (and maybe you can figure out WHAT THE HECK that flavor is :)).

I have heard good things about his Black Jack and his Robacco line, but I haven't gotten around to them yet. You certainly can't beat his prices.

I love Rob's Blackjack. It's a strong anise flavor and vaped on low voltage I really enjoy it. My 180 ml jug is 100% VG, 30 mg nicotine on an eGo 650 Twist and Kanger or stardust 2.2-2.4 or whatever is not leaking that day..... Now, to me there seems to be two specific tastes in tobacco selections 1) WAHOO! WOW! Now THAT'S a tobacco!!!" which is generally an NET and very few additional or very light flavors added and 2) "This is a flavor with hints of tobacco" The robacco lines hit my 2nd category description with a mild/hint of tobacco but with heavy caramel/vanilla (or in my case, strong anise) et al flavor components" His 100% VG liquid is I would say very nicely thinned, so behaves well in the clearo. And his prices are very cheap, service is excellent.

I'm coming more and more around to this thinking. Not a mainstay, but a palitable diversion that would also help to make me appreciate the tobacco flavors more. BMV has an Applejack Tobacco. Yes, it is still tobacco-based, but the reviews all suggest it has a solid apple punch that is refreshing. Perhaps that would be a good first step for the diversionary juice I need. I have given this one serious consideration for the reason you bring up.

Wow, Hulamoon, and I'm trying to move away from 100% VG because I am getting tired of fighting my devices to burn it properly. I burn a 100% VG now (Johnson Creek) and I'll load up my 2.4ml clearo and by the time I get to 1.0ml it is pitch black and tasteless.

LOL - well, he does do all different ratios, 100%VG is just my personal favorite because I have issues with too much PG :)

That's good reason. I prefer the VG...good flavor, good vape compared to PG. Just can't get it to burn good. I do fairly well with it in this little Kanger M3 on an eGO 650 bat. So that's all I vape it out of now. Not too bad in there. Nothing else works well with it though...carts, cartos, clearos (other than the M3).

Rob's Blackjack - love it
Robacco - Like it
Smooth - never tried it
Morley - Hated it
RY4 - hated it
Applejack Tobacco - This cape from my recommendations to hime from last vapor con. It's good.
Caramel Tobacco - Love it
DeKang Tobacco Type - Like it
Robacco Caramel - Love it

I used to vape the heck out of BMV stuff. 80/20 PG/VG. Then I started breaking out. Turned out it is PG. I have about 300-400ml of BMV stuff here that I cannot vape. I have tried and prefer the VG. Depending on the device, sometimes it has a strong chemical taste. Not so great in my genisis mods, but in atomizers, cartos, and RBA like the bulli-smoker, it was good to me.

Jolly, what did you hate about the Morley? That one kind of intrigued me.

Very good post. Here is my opinions of these as well:

Rob's Blackjack - love it. (Mix it 50/50 with Caramel Tobacco for my ADV)
Robacco - liked it.
Smooth - liked it although I wasn't a menthol smoker. Very nice vape.
Morley - hated it, gave it away. (just did not like the taste at all. Somewhat bitter to me)
RY4 - got it as a sample and did not like it. I'd give it a 4/5 out of 10
Applejack Tobacco - Never tried it
Caramel Tobacco - love it. (mix it 50/50 with Rob's Blackjack for my ADV)
DeKang Tobacco - liked it
Robacco Caramel - never tried it

Overall I like BMV ejuices alot and the prices are really attractive. Try several of them, you will be happy I am sure. Hope this helps.

@Bronze. I see you are in NC. Vapercon is coming to Richmond, Va in Oct (12-13 I believe). You should come up and spend a day. Lots of vendors and MODS galore and pretty fun. Rob from BMV will be there, and guess what? Rob will let you try all the liquids he has. I took away 3-4 bottles and sat there and vaped it, deciding on flavors. He is a good fellow to deal with.

Also, TBH, I haven't looked at where Wake Forest is in relation to Charlotte, but MadVapes has a brick & mortar there... Plus I bet they are at Vaporcon again :)

I'll be there also and will certainly hook up with you. I am not really a people person, but I can give you the cell # to call me. Wife & probably a few friends along also.

I did also UNTIL I tried it. I got it for my Mother to try because I am trying to convert her to vaping. I tried it and liked it alot. I would recommend you to at least give it a shot.........if not now, maybe another time. BMV is a good vendor and has a very quick customer service department IMO.
