In the works for almost 8 months, this flavor went through many trials before we finally settled on a recipe that we felt truly proud of.

This rich, dark tobacco is laced with sweet vanillas and subtle suggestions of spice. Sitting somewhere between the flavor profiles of cigar and pipe tobaccos, it's surprisingly smooth, but not without a little bit of kick in the back of the throat, giving it a full body
.
I literally just 10 minutes ago finally got to load this sample into a carto and give it a try.
I'm vaping it right now as I type, I REALLY like it!

Exactly as you described it.

Truly is very rich, deep, dark and robust with a hint of spice and vanilla, but the primary quality by far is the textured cigar/pipe flavor, the vanilla and spice (to me) are background accents.

It makes me want to don a luxurious red and black smoking jacket (if I had one) and pull out a snifter of Brandy.

This is definitely for people who like cigar/pipe juices, there's no doubt about that.
I would imagine for people who like to mix vaping and drinking this would be a great juice as well.

Thanks for the free sample, otherwise I might not have ordered it, and I'm glad to know about this juice now!

(1-10, 10 Awesome)
Flavor - 8 (Very bold, strong intense rich and exotic flavor)
Throat Hit - 8 (stronger throat hit than most of my other juices)
Vapor - 8 (VG juice, you know the deal)

I give it a thumbs up, I would buy more. :headbang:

I had to add another post to this review.
I was vaping it for several hours today...and something has changed significantly.

I will have to admit this is the first time I have had a juice actually change flavor on me and in a very noticeable (and good) way.

It was a small free sampler that I loaded into a dual coil carto and it has basically been sitting here while I have been exploring other juices lately, as I'm not always in the mood for a pipe vape, more of an evening thing...but it now has significantly gained some textured flavor character.

The flavor is great to begin with, the very rich fragrant pipe flavor is still there, but in comparison to today's experience, this juice was what I would call 'dry' before...or maybe my taste buds are changing, I'm not sure.

To be honest, on post-exhale when the leftover aroma of the juice is sort of hanging out in your mouth, I'm picking up a flavor that actually reminds me of Boba's, it's in the very back end of the flavor hit.

Not Boba's exactly, but close enough to say it. I can't exactly explain why, and it's freaking me out a little bit because I didn't pick up this flavor at all before, but it's very apparent now.

I don't know if it's my taste buds being more acute now or the juice has aged a few weeks or maybe a little bit of both, but I remember the flavor of this juice very well from vaping it a week or two ago and I in no way got this Boba sort of back-ended sweetness back then.

This juice is Super Yum now if you like rich pipe juices, and I'm really taken aback by the change in flavor, first time I've experienced this.

WoW very nice review Drak. I messed up my order and ordered 100 vg of something so Rob sent me a free sample of Blackjack in 100 vg. I have a hard time vaping the VG due to my carts but the taste of this was outstanding. The hints of spice were great and your review was spot on. When BlueMist makes this available I am def going to give the 80/20 pg-vg mix an order.

Sorry, I vaped it all up :) ...and probably jettisoned the sampler bottle.

It couldn't have been more than 18mg at most tho, anything higher than that I would not have vaped it. I would agree with 8, sounds right.

What's interesting looking back is that I have had more experiences with juices steeping and settling down now, the interesting thing with the Blackjack was that it actually 'picked up' more flavor as it mellowed.

I have had a few juices lately that as they sat and steeped, while the juice did mellow and become more pleasant to vape, the flavor has 'muted' itself at the same time, almost like it's more pleasant, but now I have to chase the flavor, mostly with V4L juices I'm finding that. They seem to really 'round over' and lose the bite of the original flavor too much as they start to mellow.

That didn't happen with Blackjack, it mellowed AND seemed to pick up MORE flavor than it had before, and the part it picked up on the back end was the really nice rich sweetness that it lacked at first.

This steeping thing is indeed interesting, always keeps you on your toes.

I would recommend you give it another week or two, it didn't 'change' flavor for me until minimum 2-3 weeks out from delivery.

And I actually have been looking into Vape The Rockies,
I've heard a lot of good things about their organic juices.

I'm not a huge pipe-cigar guy, it was a free sample,
may or may not decide to get more, but it truly did change character after a few weeks for the better.

Bought the flavoring. Mixed @ 20% (60%PG, 40%VG, 12Mg. nicotine, 155proof rum to cut the VG.)

Stands up very pleasurably to an Islay single malt scotch. I like the sense of weight and the complexity. Unlike most American pipe and cigar juice flavors, this does have a tobacco-like component, not just a muddiness. The only thing missing from the real pipe and cigar experiences is the dirty oily aspect; not something we're likely to ever have from vaping.
