I order all vg or max vg liquids to get away from the strong throat hit pg has.
Am I imagining things when I am experiencing a strong throat hit at 6mg. All my other vg liquids are smooth except this.
If so how come it has such a strong hit compared to other vg liquids?
Bobas Bounty has a strong throat hit for sure, I remember using it when I was new. It has a "peppery" taste. That was waht made me stop vaping it.
It is known for that.
In the original and now famous Natural Tobaccos topic,(21,000+ posts!) Bronze spelled it out in post #9648:

So peppery is a quality of Bobas Bounty that a lot of people notice.
And also, I am quite sure there is a little cinnamon component in there or it may come along with the graham cracker component many taste.
BTW, anyone who hasn't read thru that tobacco topic, if you like tobacco, it is the work of art that was input of hundreds of vapers here over time, closed now, but probably one of the best topics on eliquids ever written.
The throat hit thing with bobas has been commented on quite a bit like here:

I imagine it doesn't do that to some people.....probably to those who were real heavy smokers and are heavy vapers now.....but for those of us who still have throat cells left

lol) we can taste the peppery-ness.
It would have been my all day vape when I first started, and I did use it for a while, but I just couldn't take that pepper TH. I think it is added precisely FOR throat hit since VG doesn't usually deliver that and I think most vapers like it?
The other juice they have that is like bobas but with banana is a little better on that account, forgot the name of it.
STEEPING has been reported to help. VG juice needs much longer steeping time than PG based
