Boba's Bounty...What's All The Fuss About!

I got my first (and probably last) order of Boba's today in vapemail. I wasn't that impressed. Maybe I was expecting too much with all the hoopla about it. I found it to be just "adequate". It didn't taste bad but it didn't taste that good either and there was virutually no throat hit. Glad I just ordered a 6ml bottle of it. Now don't get me wrong...I won't throw it away as I have some other juices I've tried in the past, but I'll store it on the "back row" in my juice box. However please remember that this is only MY opinion and I know there are a lot of folks out there that love Boba's but it's just not for me.

I don't know where you get the "no throat hit" from. What voltage and resistance are you use it at. What is the nic level. I use 18mg with a 2ohm carto at 4.2 volts or 8.5-9 watts. I get tones of TH.

As for the rest of the quote, I think that's exactly why I like it. It's kinda like a cigarette. It's not good are bad, but vary vapeable. Especially all day. I absolutely love it when I'm drinking beer.

I got my first bottle a couple of days ago. I have the same opinion.

I guess I'll put it back and give it another try after it steeps for a while. I did LOVE their Hype flavor tho. It rocks.

I am sad that I too, got some last week, and do not like the flavor. There is something weird in it that i just can't get over.

I put mine up for swap on the juice swap thread. Maybe I will get to try something fun since I was so dissappointed about this one.

The gorilla juice isnt bad, but not a huge fan of it either...

Juice flavor preference is probably the most subjective part of this already incredibly subjective hobby.

It's not your cup of tea. Simple as that.

OR, like Hodge said, maybe you'll like it more after letting it steep for a while.

I usually vape 12mg juice. My first taste of Bobas was some steeped 6mg and I did backflips. I love the stuff but at 6mg I was vaping my other stuff in between. I got some steeped 18mg and the th overpowered the flavor and was not nearly as enjoyable. I just got my first order of 12mg in today, haven't vaped it yet but I am quite excited to load up one of my REOs and get down to business

Boba's Bounty tastes differently everyday. The older it gets, the better it gets, the more unexpectedly different it gets. I bought my first bottle about 2 weeks ago, and it tastes VASTLY different today than the day it arrived. Patience... Patience...

I agree with letting it steep for a bit, and the fact that it tastes different on different devices and even depending on the mood I am in.

I too said blah when I first tried it - then I got a 30ml and again, it was OK, nothing special, just a decent juice.

Then I got a bottom liquid feeder and tried it in there and that was my bobiphany. So far I have vaped little else for 2 weeks.

I hate myself for making me like this juice, it's not inexpensive, it's hard to get (although getting easier), it's thick and gunky so I have to clean my atty more often and I don't want to like it. I am a free spirit, vaping my own trail of juices, finding my flavor and all that.

But I admit it now, I like Boba's, I might even call it an ADV, which I have not really had since I started.

Anything bobas require a long steeping time for desired flavor. It's the premium combination of flavors in in bobas that require the long steeping time.

Just to double confirm, you got your Boba's Bounty from Alien Vision or Alien Vape?

The "original" Alien Vision Boba's is 100%VG, thus, the taste and throat hit takes a back seat.
Which makes it a wonderful ADV. The taste is subtle and the little nuances comes and goes. There is no accurate way to pinpoint the flavor as it differs from every vape and everyone.

And make sure to clean your atty everyday if using as ADV as VG gunk and leaves residue very quickly, they taste nasty!!!

I recently got a bottle of Bobas also. I love it! It is so tasty. My only problem is I only ordered a 12ml bottle. Next time it will be a much bigger bottle.

Exactly as others here have said, just chiming in to say that yes, it seems a little subtle at first and you think "THIS? THIS IS WHAT EVERYONE IS SCREAMING TO GET?" But if it gets its hooks in you it's that very neutral, subtle flavor that makes it so nice, added to the fact that it makes really fun thick clouds just makes it a very solid performer.

Is it my favorite juice? No, mainly because of the gunking issues mentioned earlier. Is it real nice to have some on hand once in a while? Definitely.

I have a sample bottle that i bought 8 months ago. I didn't care for it. It's not bad. But it reminds me of pipe tobacco too much. I'm also not a fan of 100% vg liquids either. Come to think of it, i don't like anything from alien vision for that reason.
