Boba's Bounty with Boge Carto

I'm vaping Boba's Bounty on a Boge carto right now and it doesn't seem to soak up the juice too well... I'm a chain vaper and at times I vape for about 20-30 min. Will this quickly kill my Boge carto?

Previously, I was using a Smoktech carto and that soaked up Boba's Bounty REALLY well. I had absolutely no problem with it and it lasted me about a good week to week and a half.

Is this something normal with Boge cartos and it not soaking up the juices too well? I'm currently using a tank mod with punched cartos.

Well i'm surprised you had such an easy time with the Smoktech cartos because being 100%VG, Boba's is really hard to fill a carto. You have to drip a couple drops, wait a while. Drip a few more, wait a while. Drip a few more, wait a while, and so on and so forth. Boge cartos used to be the bees knees but now a days they are terrible, who knows what other problems they have with them. Yes, your carto WILL clog up much faster using any AVE liquids than a higher PG ratio, but you can always clean them out.

Boge are not my favorite carto but I have had no problems filling Bobas into Boge carto's, using the condom method and then topping off. I prefer the Smok Resurrector cartos, though.

Also helps to thin it out a little first - a drop or two of distilled water will help. Some folks use certain spirits as well.

hmmm yeah, smoktech worked like a charm. I was done with it in less than 10 min. it went up to the point where i overfilled it. the boge is taking me a really long time and i'm still getting scratchy hits..

The Boge's do take longer. If you take out the filler of a Boge, you'll see why, the "diaper" is a more dense material.

The video CayCay posted is the condom method. But, just to be clear, because that video is using an 808 carto, you put the connection end into the silicone cap. With the Boge's first time fill, you sort of push and twist into the cap, very slowly. About 15 to 20 drops into the silicone cap. I think the Boge's also vape better if you then leave them sit to absorb for a little while after filling.

My batch of boges I could place any 100% vg liquid on top of filler for 24 hours and it would NOT soak in without help (vacuum pressure, condom method just ended up in a mess).

Smoktechs - no problem at all...

However, smoktechs leaked on me, still trying to figure out proper punch/slot. Whereas boges did not leak once they got going.

Is it normal for a boge carto to dry out at the top and start getting a burnt taste if I don't top it off a bit? Mine does it and I've never had this problem with a smoktech carto.

Put 3-4 drops in and make sure none of it goes in the center hole.

Put carto over lips and blow as hard as possible. The juice will get pushed into the filler.

Do this over and over again. I find its the best way to fill a boge carto with thicker juices.

Also - once its full let it sit for a least 20mins. Top off very very often with thick juices or you will end up with a burnt carto quick.

I see... hmm.. I just ordered a batch of Smoktech carto. I tried my best to like the Boge's, but I don't like the whole thing with carrying the juice around with me as I already have too many things I stuff in my pocket. With Smoktech cartos, I never had to top it off. I think the reasoning for this is because the filler is shorter and the juice doesn't need to climb up as high as the Boge's.

With the Boge's if I don't top it off, I get the dry burnt hit and it annoys me a bit... I also found the draw to be a little tighter on the Smoktech, but I like this because it has a similar draw feeling as a cigarette.

I guess the only con to the Smoktech is it leaking sometimes. I get the gurgly draw and when I take the carto off, there's a bit of juice on the battery. It's not too bad nor does it happen often. It's a thing that happens mayyyybe once every 1-2 days.

However, this is of course subjective and it is only my opinion of it. I would like to just thank all of you guys for your help!! I really appreciate it and I received a lot of knowledge from you guys!

My experience with the Smoktech is that they flood... bad! I am a Boge fan LR XXL's for me... For Boba's I use a ViVi Nova tank and it works better than a carto IMO. But I do like Boba's too much IMO... Almost all my juices are 100% VG but they must be diluted with something because they are not even close to how thick Boba's is. Boba's TH is a bit harsh for me. It is like smoking honey... I like it, it does burn up cartos, so I recommend the ViVi Nova.
