So, a couple of weeks ago I got a 100ml bottle of Boba's. I had some left from my previous order, so it sat around while I finished it. Today, I went to try it with some ekowool in a dual coil setup. It tasted kinda, well really, off... I tinkered a bit, and decided maybe I was just so used to a single coil on silica that I should just go to what my taste buds were used to. I break everything down, recoil it with a single wrap with silica, give it a vape.... and it still tastes very off.

Has anyone cracked open a new bottle recently? The only thing different now is that it's in an Ithaka as opposed to a Diver. I can't imagine that would cause any difference, cut from the same silica it was in the Diver. I'm a little worried because it's kinda my go to flavor, and I now may have 100ml of useless juice :(

That stuff takes like forever to taste the way it's supposed to, and there's never any real set time frame for the magic to happen. It depends on the weather, how it's stored, the size of the bottle, how you hold your tongue when opening the bottle and filling the device, the alignment of Mercury, Venus and Mars ...

I've honestly never steeped it prior to use and it's always been tasty to me.... The bottle smells a bit on the chemical side, but I can't rightly remember what previous bottles have smelled like, so who knows.

Maybe it needs some time to STEEP. Some vendors make large batches and allow them time to steep. Perhaps its a new batch and hasn't had time yet to steep.

Yea, that's possible. It is the largest quantity I've ordered. I sent AVE a message to see if it's a batch issue or a steep issue. Honestly, as fast as they go through the stuff, I can't imagine any of it has much steep time.

I ordered 200ml of Boba's and 200ml of Gorilla Juice about 2 or 3 weeks ago. I know they were both fresh batches because they had been out of both for about a week to 10 days and this was the 1st day they were back up for sale. The GJ has been great right out of the mailbox but the BB has been nothing but raisins. Pretty much unvapable. I've kept them in a cool, dark closet and have shaken them twice a day everyday. I'm hoping the BB comes around pretty soon. Keep us updated on your steep.

Yea, good news is that after sitting in my Ithaka for about an hour, it got somewhat better. Kinda strange, I've vaped plenty of 100vg in it and never had wicking issues.... maybe bobas is 150vg :p

It does sound like, from what everyone is saying, it needs some steep based on flavor. I guess the bottle size is the deal. Need to shake it more too.
