Absolutly! A carto tank always keeps the fresh, and the cartos last forever (so it seems) in a tank.
A tank will pay for it's self with the cartos you don't throw in the trash.
I've been using my aluminum liquinator for about 2 months every day without any problems it fits well on top of my PV and matches it but my j-tank works great too it was cheaper its smaller but doesn't look as good on top of my PV and 20ml syringe tanks that I built work really well too
one more thing: I think they all do the same job its just how much money you want to spend
The problems were from a bad batch, they were all over the place voltage wise, I sent 5 to my neighbor to ohm out for me, they jumped from 1.5 to 8! Fried 4 Riva batteries on those...
I've been running a eGo 1000mah batt with the Boge 2ohm LR cartos and that set up seems to be made for RY4 @ 24mg... (as my taste goes). The RY4 is the only juice I've ever gotten in 24mg and I absolutely love it (although I wasn't an RY4 fan at first... pehaps due to the lower nic strenght). I'll start to order more of my juice in 24mg while I find my sweet spot. Lots of vapor and TH is re-dunk-cu-lous!
Though I have a pack of the EMDCC's I haven't really been a fan of them. Until... I dumped some 18mg sweeter juice in them. From what I've read so far, it may take a higher voltage than my eGo batts to really make these babies soar.
Stormy Vapor has a nice basic carto/tank - The Baby Notta. It's a few bucks more than the $8 one mentioned above. But right now they have a 20% discount going on (Coupon=20OFF) and they sell replacement grommets/seals for it too.
