Tulsa!
Vapor king has a 10% discount, the code is VKBC. Just in case anyone is interested. I think they are $8.95, though (for 5), but I live in Tulsa, so I drive to Sand Springs to buy stuff from them. The larger ego battery I bought was cheaper than that at some other places, so I guess one has to really shop around to get good deals, although when one takes shipping into account it's sometimes better to get most things from one place. I don't pay that of course, being local. It's neat to SEE the products physically, they really look smaller in person, lol. I was surprised to see how skinny and small most of the non-ego or mod PVs are, like the 901.

I'm glad I got the tank system.I take turns with the ego (tornado) battery by attaching a tank or a Boge cartomizer. It all depends on my mood and what I want to get from them. I started vaping on this tiny m401 Which I bought at my local Indian smoke shop, which had a tiny cartridge which had to be constantly refilled, and where I was either sucking juice or drying out the atomizer, There was also the tiny batteries which couldn't handle my heavy vaping without having to be charged all the time. The kit had one atomizer, two batteries, 5 filled tobacco carts which they told me were equivalent to a carton of smokes, and a USB charger. It was only $39, I guess I got lucky that in my ignorance I wasn't skinned like other newbies who buy their first kit in malls for like a hundred bucks, or the "free" PVs that come with a steep price.

The smoke shops in Tulsa only sell a selection of filled carts, and everyone I called here hadn't heard of liquids, didn't know anything about re-filling carts, about preserving and cleaning the atty, or anything. No referrals to the web either. If I hadn't stumbled upon the vaping forums, especially ECF with all of it's wonderful people who work so diligently to educate and support us newbies and each other so that the atmosphere of caring and support makes it make it the main go-to community it is for me and so many others, then I probably would have thrown my hands up, thrownt my m401 out, and I would have lost even more hope that I will ever quit smoking. I feel very, very lucky.

I am so glad I started vaping now that reasonable options are available for better ease of use. The variety of PV styles and the huge variety of juices is staggering, and although it's all a bit confusing for newbies, it seems that with all the help that you veterans and forum operators, and fighters for our right to vape the way we want to, with all this help we newbies generally find our way to something that works for us. Everyone here is unique. We all own different collections of PVs, have more or less enormous caches of liquids from every vendor we hear of in our chase for the perfect vape. I, for one, am tremendously grateful to all of you guys and hope to be as helpful as I can be, too. I feel like we are all pioneers in one of the largest empowering movements to come along, and am obviously quite excited.

The vaping industry seems to be exploding and people are contributing to so many innovations that I am in awe of the talent and imagination out there, both in PV mod inventions and juice creations and constant refining. This is so much more fun than guiltily sucking on cancer sticks and being kicked outside everywhere you go in order get your fix.
Yea to all you smarties out there! TG
:vapor: and THANK YOU!!!

P.S. I'm not sure how I got onto my excitement about vaping and how great this whole thing is. I guess the fact that after 30 years I am finally quitting smoking in this wonderful, tasty (when my taste bids wake up!), interesting, fun, and supportive way is really hitting me right now. I guess I had to get it out. There had better not be anything legislatively that spoils our harmless and life-saving fun! I am going to really start doing everything I can to help educate and fight for our VAPING RIGHTS. The government and corporate America need to keep their greedy paws off!!!! Sorry if I am speaking too much off-topic or am out of line. Feel like a group hug, though..:D:):vapor: TG:toast:

I can use these with my Riva 510 right? Is the 2.0 meaning they hold 2 cc's? About how long do they last so I know how many to buy? Thanks, Im still new at this!

Anyone know where to get reusable cartomizers for the Riva 510? I need manufacturer name and specifics please...

I use them with my Riva all the time. The 2.0 is how many ohms they are. The 2.0 is low resistance.

They only hold a bit more than a cc. If you want a carto that holds 2 cc/ml then get the eGO XL cartos.

I'd get a pack of 5 at first, to see how you like them. They can be refilled. Also, make sure they're WET WET WET before you try to use them. The best way is to get the filler wet, put the condoms back on...and let sit overnight. You don't HAVE to but that way it gives the liquid a chance to soak in all the way.

To fill just pop off the white rubber mouthpiece. You can drip down the sides to fill...while rolling the carto around, OR you can use a syringe to get the liquid down in there.

I love the Boge 2.0's. I only get about 3 days out of one before they get hard to draw or funky tasting. You can clean them but at a buck and a quarter a piece I just pitch it. I have tried to clean them but it never seems to work well for me, at least with these.

I get at least a week out of mine, the trick is to keep them wet. Because as an LR device they go through juice faster than a 3.0 ohm carto...

It may also help that I use a syringe to fill them so that the juice is evenly distributed from bottom to top but I can't be sure of that.

I think it's the juice I use, there are several of us that have the same issues. Not a big deal for me.

I use 100VG from AV or Vaperite or BWB mostly, I did use to get 3 or less days off of one but once I started
a) keeping them wet on the top throughout the day
b) filling them with the syringe at night

it doubled my lifespan on these carts.

I vape Tasty Vapor, My atty's gunked up quickly too so I wasn't surprised when the carto's did the same thing. I use a syringe at night too. Again it's not a big deal, they are cheep and Tasty Vapor has amazing juice, not to mention by using their doublers I'm prob saving enough to be as cost effective as the rest of you.
