I what up guys, havent been on for a while, I am about to order a new L/R atti, I was just wondering what the difference between a 306 l/r and a 510 l/r is... I know they both work on the ego, but what do u guys like best?
The 510 holds 5-10 drops more juice.Thats it. Thats all the difference. The 306 is smaller
If you want to use it with the cone you should think about getting an extension connector otherwise the carto only sticks out like a half inch. depends on what you like.
I'm guessing you are going through Avid. They have a '510 modders conector' in the accessories section that works great when you screw the little ring off that comes on it.
I converted from LR 510s to LR 306s because of the much warmer vape and easier maintenance. It mimicks HV vaping at 3.7 with better flavor. When you're taking a draw it's more like a cigarette warmth on a 306. I put in 4 drops at a time and vape longer than with 3 drops in a 510. Takes about 7 drops to get one going, 3 or 4, take a draw, repeat. The one on my main PV has been going for 28 days. Maintenance: rinse with hot water, blow out the water, dry the connecter end and vape with no waiting, dry burning or sitting overnight. Loving these attys (till the next best thing)
I would try the cisco branded 306 LR atties. You can get them from avidvapor.com. I got the "set" which has two 1.5ohm atties and a drip tip of your color preference for 20 bucks. I've been using just one of them and it's still going strong after a month.
I only use attys to test juices on a slim manual 510 so I don't use LR. I use a standard resistance 306 atty and 306 drip tip (they need their own model of drip tip that goes over the steel exposed bridge atty). The reason I use 306 to test juices is because it has a good sized hole in the threaded end (at least mine does) and no tube above the bridge to trap the aromas of previous juices. So I find it easier to blow out a 306 (but harder to get the drip tip off! I have to warm it a bit with a drag or 2 and then pull off my 306 drip tip).
