Boge 510 carto-no flavor

Is there a reason why I am barley getting any flavor out of my boge 510 carto? I filled it using the condom method & I don't think I messed up, I'm not getting "gurgly" hits. I have a carto tank but I need to get a carto puncher (doing that tomorrow) so in the mean time I'm just using a carto. It's just frustrating.
