Boge Cartomizers

Ok,


So here is my quandry. I have used both Boge and SLB (?) cartos. I feel like the Boge definately last longer and possibly have better flavor. That said I think the SLB carto's give much more vaper. I attribute this to the Boge Carto's being quite an easy draw where as the SLBs are much stiffer.

Somewhere I read that you can screw the bottom (the part that connects to the battery) in and it will make the draw more stiff. Does this actually work? If so how much do you tighten it? I tried to screw one in and ended up destroying the cartomizer.

Am I alone in feeling that maybe the easy draw of the boge is inhibiting full vape production?

Any and all thoughts on the subejct are welcome

No, you aren't alone. I love the draw on an SLB, but don't love the flavor or lifespan of the cartos. I get much better of both with the Boges. The draw IS light on the Boges, but I have to say that with the cone on my eGo, that has become a non-issue...also, at 3.7v the draw is better too, so I throw them on my box mod and have no problem getting incredible vapor production. What device are you using yours on, if I may ask?

You CAN turn that screw on the bottom, but such a tiny bit before it destroys it that it usually doesn't make a big enough difference. I've heard of people plugging up one of the two air holes on the threads to tighten up the draw.

I have switched from SLB's to Boges myself. I find that they produce better flavor and last much longer than the SLB's do.....and hold out quite well at higher voltages. At 6v they provide a fantastic TH!

I use a standard 510...I would love to get an ego/riva/hello016 but I am seriously debating just holding out for a new precious.

I tried plugging the hole with toothpick pieces. It worked but is a PITA.

I have an order of cartomizer e2's r3 en route from China Im hoping they will be the magic bullet to my cartomizer issues but only time, and shipping lanes, will tell.


I think the SLBs are far superior for vaper but as you stated just fall short in every other category...I may just have to breakdown and get an ego.

You will most likely kill the carto if you turn the center. I have done this. you can use a toothpick and plug up one of the vent holes. But like Bianca stated with the ego there is no such problem.

The Boge cartos are great as is.

I use them on a 510, a pack of five lasts me about a week and with the condom refill it is about as close to the feel and convienence of an analog.
