I was looking for a good deal on cartos and I found em, 45 bucks for 10 boxes of boges. So I get them, fill one up using condom method, pop it in a tank and it tastes burnt. I'm like, ok, and get a different carto and this one tastes burnt also. The last 4 ive used have all tasted burnt. I'm using 3 ohm cartos at 5.5 volts on my Provari, and I know what I'm doing with them I'm not a carto noob. Has anyone else had this problem? I don't want to be too rash and blame surevapes... But... 4 cartos all taste burnt out of the box... I'm using an unflavored juice I DIY and I add some magnum pi from fuzionvapor for a little sweetness. Any feedback? Any body with the same problem?

Is it possible they're mismarked and they're LR? Do you have a multi-meter to check them?
Write surevapes they are great people. They don't make the cartos so they don't know it was a bad batch.

If you're using high VG they'll take longer to soak. You're letting them soak for 15-30 min?

But anyway i specifically remember buying a 5 box surevapes deal (i wasnt quite as boned). Before trying them i would've commended the website for its crazy sale but surprise, they were all unusable or unenjoyable. Idk.. now i just wait for Ikenvape to be in stock or use RBAs in the meantime. I haven't even had a carto half as good as anything ikenvape sells. "Bogegate" may just be a bs fairy tale but why take the chance.. i believe that they sell 100s at a time that run perfect but then sell another 300 that work awful, that'd explain how sometimes people get lucky for a few boxes to me anyway

It's not really "Bogegate"...that was last year. I started buying Boge cartomizers from Surevapes late last year...probably sometime around October or something. AFTER the Bogegate thing had been resolved. My first order was for the 5 box deal...and things went well. The average was generally one dud per box...but I'd also get some that refused to die for ages, so I figured it all balanced out.
Ordered the 5 box deal a couple more times...and noticed (especially with the last batch two months ago) that I was getting a LOT of burnt tasting ones. Yes..I did check the resistance, and with only a few exceptions they were within expected ranges. There were a few that were WAY off, however. Next time I needed to order...they were out of the 3ohm I needed for my VV devices...so I went to Hoosier eCig Supply and got my Boges there. They were mostly all fine...an occasional dud, but generally good.
Don't know what the deal is. I hope it's not ANOTHER "Bogegate". But that doesn't really make sense since the ones from HECS are good for the most part.

wow you make me glad i mostly use RBA's that kind of freaked me out.. also hoping ikenvape cartos do not have this issue.. like ... lol
i totally still like surevapes butters, hell they occasionally carry a lot of other things i need for a fair price with great shipping speed. and the shipping is free, were all venting at boges poor reliability when selling to these poor unsuspecting vendors that in turn have to sell the crap to us
I honestly never had a problem with boge cartos except for an occasional bad one here and there.
Absolutely ! The only problem with the Boge cartos, the polyfill can be wrapped a bit too tight. By using a syringe to fill, that guarantees proper saturation.
I quit cartos completely.. For proof check out my profile and last started threads. Sold it all except for a butters phiniac I'm saving for sentimental reasons and one day getting a killer 705.
Yes I have a volt meter, my provari, lol. I just filled up a new one and for now its okay, but it usually takes a day for that burnt taste to come around. We'll see. I watched PBusardos thing and he said that is burnt tasting ones had the two long condoms and were marked differently, mine have a short and a long condom and aren't labeled strange. I just bought 10 friggin boxes and I hope they aren't all bad.. I'm gonna be .......
