Well, I have now tried:

Cisco 1.5 510s: Not for me. Too hot, and no taste (I am a light juice junkie).

IKV Cannon Stealth 1.8ohm: I don't like the 801 feel, and even with the o-ring trick I find them too leaky, to airy, taste was good though. One thing I noticed is even with the o-ring MAN this things are juice HOGS! Just really not for me.

IKV Cannon Stealth 2.0ohm: See 1.8's.

IKV Stealth 901: While I didn't like the idea of using an adapter, I tried my best to be careful and meter everything. WOW. Great TH for me, GREAT taste, great temp, great vapor. I actually like the tight draw too. These are top of my list. The stealth adapter from avid seems to be working like a charm too. I am surprised how forgiving these have been to this newb.

Just some thoughts from someone feeling thier way around with toys new to him.

Have a great 4th everyone!

I love 901 atty as well but scared to try it on the Grand!!

Just get a good adapter and you're golden. You can visually inspect the insulator ring inside the adapter, wiggle the center post with a toothpick or something to make sure it never contacts the threads, or use a multimeter to check for continuity between the center post and the threads. There should be NONE. (unless it's already screwed into a 901 atomizer)

Adapters are no more likely to cause a short than atomizers and cartomizers themselves, IMO.

Edit: tried to clarify a point

Isaac's atties are wonderful, really. If you like a tight draw and TH then I would really recommend his LR306. It's rated at 2.0ohms and works wonders on any bottom feeder.

Where does a 901 fall in warmth and flavor with 510 & 801 of same resistance? I find the 510 often ravages my throat. I am an 801 vaper atm, but sometimes wish for a little more warmth without loosing flavor or upping to a kicking TH.

How do 901s bottom feed? Saw Robs vid on an o ring trick but looks like it would be kinda messy. I'm not always the most attentive vaper

901 is very flavorful and warm, but doesn't have a lot of TH imo. They bottom feed just fine with a stealth adapter or a regular sized adapter providing it has a hole in the center of the positive post to allow juice into the atties connector. Just as RF said and I mentioned before, the drip shield is a fool proofed o-ring accessory and works perfect. It also adds visual bling to your atty. At the end of the day, I wouldn't dare touch a 901 atty without using my drip shield. Typically, I only use 0nic juice in my 901 because I just want to relax and have a flavorful vape without any effects from nicotine. They're just awesome for that.

Well I have only been using this one for a day, but have to say that the warmth of the vape is good at 1.8ohms from IKV. Not quite sure about the messyness as my catch cup is clean and havent had any issue of juice dripping, but again, only one day. It is a really tight draw however, and I can see that turning some folks off. I will have to check out these sheilds everyone is mentioning, but honestly, I havent had any issues with juice so far. Thanks all!

Edit: Just put on a cisco 2.0 and to me the TH is better on the 901 w/ same juice. Please note however, I am not a TH chaser, I like just a little hit.

The only difference imo with a 901 is they have more air flow.If you choke the air inlet you will notice more throat hit.If you watch my mini tutorial part two you will see I use a small gasket under the air inlet to help with juice over flow .The same gasket can be used to control the air intake .Back when I had time to tinker:facepalm:

seconded, running an ikv lr306 on my grand right now and it its the best setup I have tried so far, draw is a little tight but flavor and vapor are excellent, I would prefer it if Issac offered a 1.8 or 1.5 ohm version as the vape is a little cool for me but its still the best I've found so far.
