boiling atomizers

Hi all
I followed some cleaning techniques about boiling atomizers in hot water i had boiled them for about 40 seconds then run cold water through them left them to dry, but now all i get is a nasty burnt taste to them, no matter what i try the taste is still there, So i was wondering if this is a known thing when you boil them as they were working fine before i messed with them, i won’t be doing that again, lol.

PS, they were intellicig and mirage atomizers

I have three 510 attys that I have been using for 3 months and they are still working great. I never clean them - I only blow them out once or twice day. I never dry burn them, as some suggest, and I never let them dry out while I'm vaping.

I've basically given up on the cleaning as well. I'll only do it if I taste tested a juice that was horrible and won't come out of an atty, otherwise I just blow them out a few times a day and use them till they die.
