I got the bolt and since day one it's been temperamental. I don't know if it's the switch or the battery. Here is what i've done. Measure the voltage of the battery that came with the mod and it's fully charged, but I get little vapor or none sometimes, sometimes it will hit good. This I've tried with 2 different attys and different cartos, regular and low res. Now I tried another battery and same thing sometimes no vapor and sometimes good vapor but weak throat hit, I put the same atty on the ego and it has good throat hit and warm vapor. I measure the voltage thru the atty connector and sometimes only the voltage will go up and down, but most of the time is steady at whatever the battery voltage is at the moment. So, I know is outputting the right voltage thru the atty connector, why am I not getting it on the atty??????
Any help will be appreciated

thanks!

I can't help you but my fiance had the same issues with his Bolt. He ended up rewiring it quite easily and now it works great. PM me if you need more info :)

Thanks for your response. I have emailed the vendor since I got it last week. Hopefully I can get a replacement, if not I will be contacting you. Thanks for offering your help!

I had the same problem the second day I had the Bolt. Was working fine, then suddenly, nothing.

My Bolts came with a small baggie of NoAlox. Thread lube. I believe I put too much on the threads. Wiped some off with a paper towel and cleaned the center contact on the top cap.

That seemed to fix the problem. It happened again 3 weeks later. This time, I just cleaned the contact with Deoxit and it has been working since.

I had problems with my bolt after a few weeks use. I contacted CCV and he said he'd replace it but I didn't have a backup device while the broken one was being shipped back. I decided to open it up. The wire going to the positive post inside the head was twisted and broken. So what was going on is that when I was screwing it together, it would twist the positive pole around. I resoldered and then glued the pole in place. It's been perfect since. The wires in the Bolt are pretty thin. I plan on putting a better looking switch into it soon and when I do, will re-wire the whole thing with better wire.

Good luck.
