...to say THANKS!!!

Without your post on that P board, I would never have known this whole new world existed! :thumb:

Of course I had seen the 'free' trials, & was very interested, but on reading the fine print, realised it was basically a scam. I had no idea there were other vendors, models and mmmm flavours!

Still awaiting my equipment & juices in the post, but I have a feeling that vaping is gonna be the thing to get me off the analogs.

Flow-through effect - I mentioned e-cig to my local shopkeeper when buying my cancer sticks. Back again the next day & he's asking lots of questions & very interested in one himself. I have a lot of smoker friends - we'll see what the next few weeks brings...:)

Welcome to the ECF. What a fantastic friend you have in BonnienClyde. Have any questions-just ask and someone will pop in to help. There are stickies in the main forum that help newcomers understand e-cigs, the abbreviations and such. Dive right on in and have fun!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here is a link. They are the first sets of posts you see:

Thanks Tina :)

So, I had my best (smoker) friend over tonight, & when I told her I'd be quitting within the next week, she was shocked (yeah, I'm a pretty chronic smoker), but suprised me by saying she'd been considering quitting too - for health reasons - but enjoyed it too much.

I showed her this forum, & some vendors, we watched some youtube videos, & she is totally sold. As a roll-your-owner she is interested in the carts & atty set-up (I recommended the 510 to start), & it looks like I might have another convertee, thanks to BonnienClyde....gotta love this flow-thu effect, & gotta keep it going...

Awww...shucks,.... 'twan't nuthin'........

now I'm embarrased....LOL!

Seriously, though, I really think we should all "pass it on". I've only met one or two smokers that wasn't willing to at least check it out. Hopefully, you posts over the next few months will be all about how long its been since you had an analog! And you are passing it on to your friend, she will pass it on to another, and so on and maybe all of us together can fight this ban crap!

And really, it was someone else's post about making threads on their other forum that they go to, (I think it was a Harley-Davidson forum?) that gave me the idea to post about ecigs on my other forum.

This just goes to prove that the more infomation that gets out, the more people will use ecigs. I can't understand why someone WOULDN"T switch, it seem a no-brainer to me!

Houndini, I should have known you would have a chuck like that! LOL!! I'm so jealous! I've been thinking of getting a chuck, now you made me REALLLY want one. The pics are TOO much! Awesome! Have you got any new stuff lately?

Feebee, I'm glad you joined this forum, and your friend would love some of the "make your own" people on here. There are many McGyvers on here! Give them a paper clip and a rubber band... and wa-la! A pv that will blow your head off, LOL!

Well, not really lately. I got this Chuck about 2 months ago. I designed the graphic myself using a bunch of pictures all cut and pieced together in Photoshop. I'm finished buying any more hardware. Get a Chuck and you won't need to have anything else. Just my :2c:

Hi there feebee. Welcome to ECF. I took a quick look at your profile to see if you had joined up w/the Oz group -- and you have, bravo!!! I was going to point you in that direction if you hadn't. Congrats on your vaping/quitting smoking decision. Take it easy, you don't have to quit in one day. Another vaper, WOW, luv it!

Thanks all :)

Nice chucks there Houdini!

Oh, received my kit today!!! Loving this, & haven't had (or even THOUGHT about) an analog since the moment it arrived - 10 hours now.

You've started a mini revolution down under BonnieNClyde. We ordered my best friend a cheap starter kit yesterday. I also posted about E-cig on my FB page & have had a few friends asking some serious questions in response to that.

It will be coming down the pub with me next weekend. I'm sure That will generate some interest too - especially approaching Winter with all the leper smokers crowded outside lol
