It’s beautifully done, but it gives the sense that this product is focused towards a certain, very small, demographic - attractive 30-somethings who have nothing better to do than hang around making the city look nice.
The actors and setting make me feel that the people who will want this device only care if it will go with their outfit and impress their friends, and I know there is so much more to this device. It’s got some cool new tech that’s created a lot of buzz among people who don’t care one bit about fashion or being an influencer.
It doesn’t speak to me. Show me the menu. Show me diverse people in diverse settings.
