A CBS news report, and unfortunately no way to post comments (that I can see). They focus mostly on the booming industry with the "questions on safety" being the standard "we don't know" from the doctor and the standard "we're very concerned" from the ALA.

I guess its much better for ratings to make a dramatic "we don't know piece" and show the opposition, instead of bringing in some advocates of harm reduction. It wasn't the normal disaster that we have all grown used to seeing, but how about someone from our side of the fence!

At least the ALA's Erica Sward (who used to be a propagandist for CTFK) admits that she (and the ALA) know nothing about e-cigarettes.

But since I've sent her (and many other ALA staffers) lots of scientific evidence on e-cigarettes, what they're admitting is that they don't bother reading any evidence. That way, ALA can continue to claim they don't know anything.
