Always fun to play.
Now try your hand at this one. Robin used a piece of 32ga wire for a mandrel to wrap the 26ga coils around.
Each coil measures 2 ohms. (so what if it takes twice as many wrapps to get there)
Don't know what it's good for, but he sure had fun building it.

I used a small sewing needle equivelant to probably 28g kanthal. Both coils are 28g kanthal.
Might play with it and wick it like a dragon coil next

Did this build just for fun today. .31 ohm dual super nano coil w/ cotton on an IGO-W. VERY hot vape, goes through juice like nothing and not much flavor but the clouds it makes are ridiculous. Wouldn't vape it on daily basis. But for fun why not haha..
Do the coils in the center touch each other? if not how do you keep them from touching?

I can't even tell if there's wicking in the center of the coils...if not... why coil it?

There isn't. The wick is pillowed underneath each coil. Wicks great. No dry hits. Plenty of vapor.
Yes. Is it two coils or are the two coils connecting making it one coil? If it's two coils how do you keep the two coils from touching each other on the lead.

2 seperate coils. They both share the positive post just like every other dual coil build out there.

The electricity "flows" up from the center post (positive). It then splits off and "flows" in each direction toward the two outside posts (the ground). The two outside posts and the entire metal base, as well as the outside threads on the connector...are ground.
Think of a lightning bold splitting. Or two devices plugged into one electrical socket in your house.
Doesn't matter if the wires on the center post touch each other. It just matters that there's two paths and the electricity takes both paths. The actual amounts depend on the total resistance (ohms) in each path. They are close to equal, ideally. Both coils glow evenly then.
If i am understanding your question, Yes it is essentially 2 coils made into one. The two coils are run parallel. Series and parallel circuits - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Had to try this after watching the riptripper's video named super nano coil. 20 wraps with 30g x2 gave me .7ohm. The flavor is actually fantastic. Ive found the vapor output is low and it can't get even a little dry but for flavor this is the best build ive found. Not practical though. Ill continue to use dual microcoils but this was kinda fun and interesting
I took it apart already and went back to my normal dual coil. Might rebuild it again tomorrow in another atty. If I do I'll post pics
