Well, sitting at work Sunday afternoon and boredom struck...vapers tongue where i cant even taste the liquid I only started yesterday and messing with my T2 to try and get the steam train vape effect going!!! 
Just realised the 3mm wick i got the other week was only 2mm (tsk tsk vendor - hopefully you can sort my ebay dispute!!!) so thought I would improvise. I have ordered some braided ekowool to see how that will work, but due to delivery address and me not going to be there for 2 weeks, I decided to improvise!!!
Stripped 2 lengths of the 2mm silica in half and decided to plait it. Then went on to use maccafan's/todds silica u-wick method to get at that glorious 50/50 strawberry DIY juice I made and et voila...it actually worked!!! And some .....in' vapour production to boot!!! YAY!!!
Well, i not on here to blow my own trumpet for probably coming up with something someone else has probably already commented on doing in here a hundred years ago, but quite chuffed!!! Anyone else just got bored and worked out some cracking way to pass the time through vaping/DIY/rba's, etc?
I decided to attach a pic of the outcome of my trials (0.1x0.3 kanthal ribbon - somewhere round 4 wraps getting 1.9ohm).
