Borescoped's "BA" Mango Vanilla from www.naturally-extracted-tobacco.com
The juice: BA bottled on 8/15, 15mg nic, 70% pg, heat extracted option. BA is an extracted pipe tobacco that was flavored with mango and vanilla. The pipe tobacco is made by Holger Danske, and instead of being a flavored cavendish cut, it's made with air-cured Burley and Virginia with flavoring added. This juice is made from just the pipe tobacco, no flavoring added to the juice.
The Hardware: cotton wicked micro coil, 28ga Kanthal at 1 ohm on an IGO-S; vaped on a mechanical mod
Ratings are from 1-5 depending on where a juice falls in an attributes spectrum. Only the last rating, "overall", is based on 5 being the best.
Sweetness: 3. A pretty fair amount of sweetness comes through in this vape. It's a natural tasting sweet that seems to come from the mango, and isn't overdone at all. For me the level is perfect for this type of vape, but for those seeking a dry tobacco this won't be it.
Tobacco Impact: 2.5. Tobacco isn't the star of the show here, this is very much a flavored tobacco vape. It could maybe benefit from more pronounced tobacco, but this is the result of an extraction from a specific brand of pipe tobacco. The tobacco isn't lost in the flavors though, and it has tobacco notes that work very well with the flavors. Kind of bright and leafy. The tobacco notes are especially felt in the exhale and aftertaste, and a slow exhale brings the leafy bite out more.
Vapability: 5. Nicely sweet with a pleasant tobacco and very tasty mango and vanilla, I can pick up and vape this about any time of the day. Works great for long session vaping; the sweetness never gets sickening. The mango backs off just a tad after a bit, but is still noticable and it helps to bring out the tobacco more.
Flavor Accuracy: 5. This tastes like exactly what it is, a vanilla and mango flavored pipe tobacco. The mango tastes natural. I don't notice a seperate vanilla flavor, it more combines with the mango flavor making it more creamy and round, and that flavor matches well with the tobacco.
Overall: 4.5. BA is a pretty strong win for me. Mango and vanilla are two of my favorite flavors, and when I heard about this tobacco juice I got very excited. I was expecting a flavored cavendish pipe tobacco, but was pleasantly surprised the tobacco tastes like what it is, air-cured Virginia and Burley. I could use just a tad more tobacco impact, but that's just a small complaint of a very tasty NET.
