Ordered the black and the red ones. I'll post about my experience after they arrive. @entropy1049 My Bigfoot just came in today and it is a heavy little bugger. It's not too heavy, just a good heft and it is somewhat smaller than I was imagining. Got the Sapor on it at .35 and it is hitting great! worth every penny to me!!

I receive my wide bore tip today, one blue, one black.

WOW Monster airflow with the top AFC off is even less restrictive:p. It chug cloud. I don't have any other chuff style rda to compare but I really like what they done with the Bo'sun. I'm running a single zipper coil between the post 0.25 ohm :vapor:

The tip is a bit short for me I would like it slightly longer but real nice anyway.

I received mine today as well! Red and black. They look pretty sleek. Does yours not sit snug in the top? Mine doesn't seat all the way and kinda bobs up and down. Not a huge deal just nitpicking. It is definitely better. I'd love a metal one honestly. Maybe with a Delrin base.

Ok I see what you mean now that you mention it. If you remove the tip you can see there is a small gaps between the top AFC ring and the cap. I think the o-ring of the tip kind of goes there so it's not flush. You can push and give a small twist so it set flush. Also I just notice the airhole on mine are a bit sharp so push and twist shave a tiny hair of the tips

Thanks! My first time stacking ribbons. Kinda hard to keep them together when wrapping them parallel with another wire.
I don't think you'll be disappointed with this rda.

My Bo'Sun arrived a couple weeks ago, but I sent it to Tom at Catfish Atty's to get bottom fed for squonking. In the mail on it's way home now. Can't wait to try it.

Those drip tips looks good too, need to get one and see how it works out.

They have new Wide Bore Drip Tip that you can use if you remove the AFC/Drip Tip adapter in 4 colors

Bosun RDA Straight Tip – SWMO Vape Shop

Wow, that's pretty cool, at least he isn't ripping people off like some modders do selling delrin for 25 bucks a shot. Certainly can't beat this for 6 bucks...!

People like this will continue to get my business. I think I'll get another atty while I'm getting the delrin tip.

After finally getting my atty back from Catfish, I really wish I would have spent the money on something else....the BoSun has little I really like about it. Oh well, don't know if you don't try it.
What turns you off about it? I'll admit I've got a few gripes about it. Trying different builds on it leads me to believe it takes just the right build though. I've got some practicing to do.

Update, They have new wide bore drip tip. This one is without o-ring drip tip. Slightly taller and even bigger bore.

Bosun RDA Bulb Tip – SWMO Vape Shop

They also have a replaceable copper positive post
Bosun RDA accessories – SWMO Vape Shop

Unsure if a copper post is such a good idea but to each its own.
I'm not sure I need anymore airflow just yet. This thing is super airy with the "baby" wide bore tip. I would love to get a brass version! Maybe I can find a custom tip maker...

For starters one of the junk grub screws striped before I even had the coils fully tightened. I assume they're made from a less than desirable inexpensive metal. After fishing the grub out for over an hour I ordered some new grubs.

I'm not keen on the airflow configuration either, it doesn't close enough to suite my liking. I'm sure it works fine for others, just not my cup-a-tea.

Anyway, when I get the new grubs I'll try some other builds before completely dissing the atty.

Anyone have any problems with their Atty yet?
Anyone have any problems with their Atty yet?
one major issue in having at the moment is what @entropy1049 mentioned earlier:
and build quality is very good, though the grub screws may be a bit soft.
I have almost stripped all of the screws that it came with so they're difficult to completely secure. Gonna have to find replacements. Stronger replacements. I do still like this atty.

Edit: :) didn't realize you were going to reply so quickly. Kinda repeated what you said

I don't have many atty to compare too but yea it's super airy especially with all the afc remove. I can hardly imagine anything that has more airflow. :vapor:

I'm currently using mine with a silicone anti-slip ring around the side airflow so it's top airflow only with the inner AFC remove.

I'm having a case of shinnytis now, I don't need a new drip tip but arrrg, I think I like the new one better from the pictures.

As for metal wide bore drip tip on their website they mention that 12mm tips [MX size] tips fits, I think they mean Mutation V2,V3 drip tips. On my caliper the wide bore drip tip has 11.9 mm at the connector. Also I think Atlantis V2 drip tip also fit. From what I read that the Atlantis V2 can use the Mutation V2-3 drip tips so that might be an other source. (Disclaimer I haven't tried now own those other drip tips it might not fit I don't know)

My Hasturs arrived from China today...I must of got the order in before they broke for their New Year Fest. The Hasturs look like a nice atty...I'm sending them to Catfish to get bottom fed before I try them.
From the Chulthu makers it looks like. Not too bad. Did you get it directly from their site? I might pick one up for $26 bucks.

Good thinking on the silicon band for top only airflow. And I appreciate the dimensions you provided. It would have been a trial and error game for me.

Yes, from their site....certainly can't beat the price. It looks like a better atty then the BoSun, but I could be wrong again....:)

When I get them back from Catfish I'll let you know.
