Hello , I just started about 2 weeks ago. I was skeptical of the idea of an electronic cig and didnt want to invest much dollar so i bought the cheapest starter kit i could find. Big mistake. It showed up looking cheap, no name, no model number( i bought it from keepsmokinginside.com). Says 100% gaurentee so i purchased.....unfortunatly i didnt think hmmmm i guess they would have to be able to be contacted to get any kind of "gaurntee"? Wich they are not. They have an email the web master bs contact info! ANYWAYS ...i loved the damn thing at first when i tried it! So much better! I'm finally free from smoke! I knew this thing was junk though so i researched a little and bought the NPRO beacause of the return policy.
So i have 2 models.
1) njoy NPRO
2) No name cheapy
Both of them will start blinking on me after only 4-5 seconds of draw. New battery/cartridge or not. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG?

p.s I have a mini e platinum dse901 coming from tottaly wicked with some juice. Hope that one works better.

Automatic batteries have a cutoff built in to stop you from having a good vaping experience.
:)

If this is bothering you, or causing you grief, then you'll want to think about getting manual batteries.

They do not have manual batteries available for the models you already have though.
But they are available for the 901 now, and since you have one coming, keep it in mind.

I'm afraid you have the RN4081 model. Except for the Blu, it must have the lead for most "problem/frustration" posts on this forum. As others have stated, get a device with manual batteries and you won't have these problems. As mentioned, the 901 now comes with manual batteries, as well as the Joye 510. Here are some reputable suppliers:

Rocky Mountain Vapor you have reached the mountain top of electronic cigarettes! : Home
Heaven-gifts.com Ruyandirect.com Best E-smoking Shop
www.eastmall.net - Eastmall International Co.,Ltd
e-Smokey Treats - Electronic Cigarette's, The healthy alternative to traditional tobacco cigarette's

Thank you so much for responding and helping me guys/gals. I am a little disappointed, I thought the NJOY NPRO was supposed to be one of the top models out there. I was "lurking" on the website for a while and had thought, if they offer a warranty theirs must be good. Tons of recommendations although you never really know because every one says that there vape has the most vapor best battery and on and on. I guess i have more to learn. I also had concluded from "lurking"that Totally wicked juice is the best out there just a little expensive so i just ordered some. Hope i wasnt mislead on that also or the dse 901 i purchased for that matter.
Vapeing is SO much more pleasant than smoking i would gladly pay 1000.00 bucks for a quality model that would function properly ALWAYS. Freedom from cigarette smoke has changed my life and i DO NOT want to go back. BUT the damn things never work!.......trying to hang in there but im on my third device in 2 weeks!

one of the mods is the ultimate in vaping performance if the size doesn't bother you, but anything with a manual switch will make your life easier

I am definitely going to look into those "manual batteries" I mean i understand the reason for auto shut off. But it is my understanding a e cig is supposed to be drawn on for 3-5 seconds at least and mine cuts off before i can get my full drag.... unless i have a brand new cart. Havnt experience the dripping technique yet sure that will be a little better cause those carts ............1cart= 20 cig...hahahah..........more like 1cart =1 cig!! im sure theres more nicotine but its not about that for every one. I like the act of smoking/vapeing . I usually hit a regular cig 20 times or so. NO WAY do i get 20 GOOD pulls off a cart ! MAYBE 10 ..before you see a reduction in vapor. I cant WAIT till these things get perfected...........BEST THING EVER...............when it works...

The auto batterys usually have a 3 second limit. The blinking is mist likely normal. If you want unlimited draws, and don't care if it looks like a cig, then listen to the guys explain the heavy duty PV's.
Yea, im not giving up yet. Just wish i knew who to trust. I feel like everyone just wants me to buy THEIR vape. Heavy duty huh? i havnt heard of this. So if mine blinking is normal.....why dont i see this happening to anyone else.Every time i see someone drag an E cig,on you tube or whatever, they hit it for a long time. 4-5 secs just like i do .

If you want help with what you have, I'll gladly pitch in. I understand you're sitting there unable to vape. If you want help, I'm here to work with you.

8 seconds is a long time. I don't think anyone can take an 8 second drag. It's probably a safety circuit in case the button is accidently pushed or sticks, the battery and atomizer won't burn up.

Now....

You have the NPRO which is a model RN4081. I went to the web site, and your "cheapie" may be a DSE103. (Possibly)

Will the batteries from the NPRO and Cheapie fit on either atomizer you have?

nope.. the cheapy(103) is like half the width of my NPRO. Actually the exact size of an analogue. But check this out , The punk ... on the website you tube video is holding supposedly the e cig your buying but NOPE. I looked closely when i got it . ITS NOT EVEN THE SAME!!! I got ripped off. It was only like 29.99 so .... but it is NOT the one in the Video. Right now i am more upset that my NPRO wont work well. Spent good money on that.
So 4-5 seconds isnt long enough but 8 is to long?

Ok - Then we can concentrate on the NPRO and worry about the other one later. Basically, the NPRO auto battery is set for a 3 second draw. When you really think about it, that's a good amount of time to get the vapor into your mouth. If your blinking before a full draw, try drawing a little bit faster.

Remember, e-cigs are a lot different than stinkie sticks.

Are you using factory cartridges or are you refilling them with juice?

Thank you. Size .........smaller is better .......especially on the go, but at home i dont really care i just want performance ! All check it out!

Easy, if you want the overall best performance, batteries that last 5-8 hours on a charge, great, consistent throat hit, no battery cut off, batteries that only cost $2 instead of $13-$20 like the Npros, then you need to get one of the premiere devices. There are seven different PV's listed, so I'm not pushing any particular one. I have my favorites but this way you can research them all. These are the ultimate in vaping with the best performance with the least frustration:

The Big Seven in Long Battery Life Manual Switch PV’s:

Screwdriver: ecigscrewdriver.com
The Black Screwdriver Kit / Totally Wicked eLiquid / Electronic Cigarette eLiquid Store
Prodigy: PureSmoker.com - Home of the USA Built PV !!!
GG: SmokeJuice - HOME
JantyStick: Janty USA
LV/ZiMoshi:Personal Vaporizers : Hardass Vapor Shop
Super T: Super T, Innovative manufacturer of Personal Vaporizer products.
AdapteverR: AdapteveR Home of the ORIGINAL USA built PV : Home

If you do some research, you will find that the vast majority like one of these PV's the best.

Good Luck
