8.3 ounces isn't heavy. It is just "big boned". And it is beautiful.

She's all about that bass, 'bout that bass, no treble......
Yes, I have a teenage daughter.
Turk, I've been kicking that idea around...... Of course, I'd have to seriously shave some hours off the build time to make them affordable.....
Now that the prototype is basically done and working extremely well, I think I can cut a few hours out. I'm gonna need a bigger mill at some point though, I can already tell..... This one is working like a champ, but I have to take more passes taking smaller bites than I would with something with a bit more power and rigidity....
Did you just find a great excuse to buy a big azz mill????(I like it)
Believe it or not guys I managed to convert her majesty to the squonk thing. It's been 5 days now that she's rockin' a Reo Mini with an RM2 and lovin' it. I made her first BF mod and since she really likes the small form factor I came up with a dibie mini running on an 18490 for her. I'm finishing it with True Oil and hopefully it will be dry enough to buff later today and I'll take some photos and post them for you.

Considering this is a non-standard dibie knock off I'll show you a shot next to mine so you can compare the size. The small one I made for my wife is running an 18490 and for those of you who noticed she asked me for as large as possible squonk hole with rounded edges so her delicate fingers don't get hurt from squonking
Of course I need to mention that this design belongs to Peter (pdib on ECF) who makes the original Dibie (Oliver Mod) and is one hell of a woodworker but not only. Peter designed the Nuppin BF atty which you can see on my blue dibie. It's an incredible BF atty with amazing flavor. Despite making several of his beautiful mods (yes I'm obsessed with the dibie) I'm on Peter's list for 2 of his amazing mods. For those of you who aren't familiar with Peter's amazing talent feast your eyes on this
