Bottom mech mod getting hot

So what could be the cause of the bottom of my mech mod getting hot its a caravella clone with a patriat clone and the coil is .357ohms its pulling about 12 to 13 amps it only get hot after 2 to 3 long pulls its getting warm but not to where I cannot hold it but would like yo know if it is normal or should I be worried or is there a simple fix

Contact resistance.

Because you are using such low ohm coil, the low ohms inside the mod itself become more significant and they get hot too.

No I have not but how would I go about doing so, could I use rubbing alcohol to clean it

Rubbing alcohol works, preferably the 91% version. Apply a light film of Noalox to the threads after that to help improve conductivity. You can find it in hardware stores/Home Depot in the electrical stuff department.

I only have hydrogen peroxide and where would I get noalox
