Bought a SE Model and need help

Hello,

Well I bought a SE classic model at the end of April this year. Since buying it I went back to the mall kiosk(1hr+ away) at least 20x's. I have brought back 2 dead car chargers, 1 regular charger, 3-4 dead batteries, and 2 atomizers. So I know that SE isn't good at all but I got suckered in like most others with the wonder of the whole thing at the mall! I had been waiting on a call from them for a month to replace a dead battery and heard nothing so on Saturday I decided to go back down. They told me that they aren't carrying it anymore and that for another $70 I could upgrade to the cigar model. I said wow I got a dead unit that I paid over $200 for and now for another $70 I can upgrade what a deal. I talked him down to $20 for an additional pack of carts for it. I get it home and the auto switch is defective. You pretty much have to suck on it like your life depends on it in order for it to turn on.
The bottom line is after over $300 with SE and countless gas costs on something I can buy on the net for $50 I'm going back down there tomm to try and get my money back. I'm wondering first has anyone had any experience with getting their money back with SE or second do I have any legal recourse with them selling me a lemon or price gouging? I think maybe I should just throw it out the window like most everyone who got poned by SE but I'm wondering if there's another way? Thanks!

Good luck with getting your money back.

Get yourself a 510 and you'll be happy.

Then again, I have a 4081 SE Gold or SE 3.0 and its not bad at all.....the cart leaks but whatever, it works, and has throat hit for days. If they refuse to return it....demand a SE Gold 3.0 instead....the model is much better then the 808A they used to sell.

If the guy says no, threaten to shove that piece of crap up his pee hole.

I don't know I guess I have to just get used to the fact that I lost out on $300 on this one and move on. And yes there are many other great models I have found like the Janty Stick, The Prodigy, and my new 510. But I guess I just can't get over the fact that I was sold $300 worth of stuff that no longer works. I guess that's SE for you.

While i agree with the above said tactic of getting your refund.....i'd promote innovapor instead=P

That, or puff on their model in front of their kiosk and fake a heart attack.....no, that gives all ecigs a bad name.......Ok, how about if you poop on their kiosk? While it might get you some jailtime, it'll save others from falling into their trap while they have to clean up the log.

Again though, the new model SE Gold 3.0 is much better, You still lost a lot of money, but at least you can salvage it with a decent model.

If you are done with them all together, get a JOYE510 from www.innovapor.com Good customer service, in fact, their staff seemingly never sleeps. Really great prices too, The $45 kit comes with a PCC=)

Yeah I grabbed the $75 kit about a week ago from Innovapor and got it Sat it's about 1,000 times better then anything that the damn kiosk ever thought of having. I'm thinking about grabbing a shopping cart from next door and then just grabbing what I feel my time and money is worth from that damn cart or hook the cart to the back of my car.

First of all I would like to say I am sure glad I found this forum. Have learned a lot about vaping and places to buy products. With that said, I too was suckered into the SE Kiosk and got ripped. I had problems with units not working properly and just all around issues. I went on line to SE website and wrote them about all the problems with the mall kiosk and my disatifaction with their product. They responded and I was able to send my entire Gold kit back to them and they replaced it with a brand new kit. I have not had any problems with this unit. I will say I did have to pay shipping, which I was not very happy about, but they did replace it and did not have to mess the mall ripoffs.

Just take your 510 down there with you and if they won't at least give you some of your money back, stand there and stop people from buying the crap he is selling. Show them your 510 and tell them where to get it... you will either get your ... kicked or they will quickly change their minds on your refund... or both...

Very True! Well I went down there to demand my money back and guess what I didn't get it! The girl at the booth who was great was scared at first because a large man was swearing about how much of a piece of **** this product was. I did turn a few people away and told them that if they wanted something good for their money go to innovapor and handed them cards. So the girl called her district manager who I met the other day and amounts to a 20 something yr old kid with slick backed hair who should be a car salesmen or ambulance chaser. I told him I was done with all of the **** they were selling and I wanted my money back. He informed me that I knew what I was buying and that they had a no refund policy and that's why they offer a lifetime warranty on this. So I quoted my favorite Farley line which is " Well if you want me to take a **** in a box and mark it garrenteed I will! I have the time. But if you want a quality product you will buy from us!". It just seemed to fit well and I love Farley so I went with it! Anyways he wasn't budging! I told him that I was headed home again with this **** and I'm calling the attourney general and the better business beareau to let them know how great this stuff was. His reply made me want to reach through the phone! He said,"Do you want the number?" He said all they will tell you is that we offer a lifetime warranty and that our refund policy is stated right on the booth. He followed with," Do you think your the first one to call on us? We have been in buisness since the early 90's and we are still here!" I said that I had heard these things weren't even invented until 2006 so they must have been way ahead of their time. He said well you better do your research better next time then! ****ING SNAKES SMOKING EVERYWHERE IS!! Well no success but I'm calling anyways. Just thought I should get the word out on how crappy this company is.

Gunz, not to be a party pooper but if they display no refunds & their warranty, complaining to the BBB and attorney general and anyone else you can think of is just going to make you look like a jerk and will accomplish nothing. Unfortunately the sales man is right there. That's why they can do business the way they do. They cover their butts in all ways that matter to them....BUT what you can do is if you used your credit card to make the purchase I can tell you how you can get your money back THAT way. Send me a PM ;)
