Firstly, I said I wasn't going to buy anything in addition to my G6 starter kit (which I've only had since Saturday) until I new how this was going to work out.

Secondly, I'm not the type to jump into something new and start buying everything under the sun in relation to said interest/hobby/etc.

That being said, I am very happy with the product so far. So much so that I ordered more blank cartos and a bigger bottle of the sample juice I ordered. That was yesterday. Today I decided to order more hardware. I hadn't planned on it, but the last thing I want to do is not have what I need, run out, and end up craving so badly that I go buy some analogs.

In addition to a plethora of blank (color-coded) cartos and more juice, this is the hardware I'll have on-hand when all is said and done:

1) 2 wall chargers (and usb chargers) so that I can charge 2 batteries at a time in an outlet
2) An additional usb charger to keep in the vehicle
3) 3 batteries (2 automatic and 1 manual.....manual came w/ the starter kit and it's not really my style....prefer the auto)
4) A G6 tank

I plan to use the tank at home and use cartos when out and about.

Price was cheap IMO so I figured it best to set myself up for success.

I think you are very wise to have multiples of everything you like and need. I did the same thing when I got my first ego starter kit, even though it came with 2 batteries. I was having such success with vaping and not smoking, that I didn't want equipment failure to sabotage me.

But, then....I got the bug to upgrade, which I swore would not happen to me.:) I didn't break the bank, but I definitely had more stuff than one person could use. So I passed along some of my beginner things to my granddaughter who is now being very successful also at vaping and not smoking.

So, all in all, I consider my money well spent!

Good luck to you and continued success in this adventure!

Thanks! good luck to you as well. I'm also considering this as research for my father. He's smoked since he was in high school. When I explained e-cigs to him he seemed genuinely interested in trying them out.

in a month or 2 you will probably have a couple of Mods/Tanks/RBA's & extra 18650 Batteries ect...just wait i know all about it :D....but you will be a happy Camper, enjoy :vapor:

I don't doubt it. I will wait until I can make an informed decision before venturing out into the world of mods. All I know now is that I don't know jack.

I ordered on Monday, same as my first order with them. First order arrived by Friday via UPS. For these orders I elected the cheapest (USPS) so not sure if it'll arrive by the weekend (USPS tracking blows).

Found a juice place close by that I'm going to visit at lunch as I don't have enough liquid to get me through the weekend right now.

If I had a nickle for every time I said your thread title....................It also happens to be a phrase my wife dreads most but I digress

It only takes one time of being out and forgetting something, having your one battery die, not having an extra on you, etc, etc, etc to never be without a backup again. If there was one thing about going to a B&M that drives me nuts is the store clerk not telling the customer to have backups to your backups. I was out with friends and surprisingly, a lot of the older guys were vaping and one that was vaping for an upcoming surgery had bought a starter kit with one battery and it died on him. Fortunately, I had two extra and lent him one.

My buying happens in two waves.....the first being the act of stockpiling so I don't run out of something and the second is upgrading. My biggest expenses happened when I went from all 808 threading, pretty far down that rabbit hole and then had to buy all 510 because the adapters just don't work well.

It's the thing no one tells you before you start vaping............you will not save any money from smoking :)

however, you probably won't spend any more than you did smoking cigarettes in the long run.

I agree on all points except maybe the money part. I didn't do this to save money, but I can see that it would be less expensive in the end. If you exclude startup/hardware costs.....all you spend on after that is new cartos and juice. Just my opinion. I'm totally new to this so I could be completely wrong in my assumptions. :)

I said this too in the beginning and for a while, the big investment was the initial start up and if you wanted to stick with what you have and just replenish what you are using; that statement is true but every vaper I personally knows has upgraded and then it starts again. There is no right or wrong answer here, a buddy of mine used the cig-alikes for a long time before moving up and I think that money driven but he did move up. People start talking about how awesome something is and you just want to try it and there is so much cool stuff out there, you usually do.

I hear ya and agree. This is why I'm not about to say that I'll never upgrade. Just saying I'm done for right now while I try out what I have. You're thinking "Yeah, right."

My friends say the same thing when I say I'm done modifying me Jeep. LOL

Yeah, I don't want to look through my past posts here because I know there is a few "I would never buy a Provari", "I would never buy a rebuild-able" and "Drippers are stupid" and I have all of those and more.

Enjoy your journey though. The one thing I can say is that I was never this excited to buy a pack of cigarettes or I couldn't wait to try that new flavor of Marlboros. Getting vape mail is like Christmas Morning every time and it has been 2 years for me.
