Bought protected batteries for my VTR.....Will they work in something else?

Like the title says...I inadvertently bought some Panasonic NCR18650B batteries that are protected. I also bought an Efest 18650 protected battery. I thought protected would be better than unprotected but I had no idea they could mess up my VTR since it has its own battery protection.

Should I keep these batteries for a future AVP or do most of them have built in protection? Im not going to buy an AVP that is unprotected just so I can use these batteries, but I am always looking at new stuff to buy so I may eventually acquire a mod that could use these batteries..

The only mod you should use those batteries in would be a mechanical and only use factory-built coils (cartos or clearos).

These batteries were designed for continuous low current drain like for flashlights.

Thanks Baditude..I bought the panny batteries when ordering my Xtar VP1. I'll probably just send em all back. I've ;earned alot in a weeks time!
