@Bad Ninja thanks! And yes definitely will take my time that's why I'm here :). Also I heard not to fill the tank to its maximum capacity as it may leak the first time using the rba deck?

Be sure the wick covers the deck.
Wicked properly, it wont leak when you fill it.

On another note, the TFV4 series just came out with an RTA the TFV-G2 (I think that is the name) anyway it has a velocity style build deck. There is also the G4 which has the quad coil build deck.
I am wanting that Velocity style Tank:w00t: The quad looks a bit difficult to build and wick.:glare:

90 watts?
Once you understand the gear you wont need to run your mod at 90 watts.
Those coil heads cannot compare to a properly built coil.
:)
Bad Ninja is right. Also I only vape mine around 70 to 75 and then as the coil starts getting older and more gunked up, I will up the wattage to 80 or 90 to get a little more life from the coil. Starting out higher watts you are in danger of burning out the coil faster. My vape shop sells those coils at $7 a piece and $9 at another one. Most places online sell them for around $22 a 5 pack. I use mine so they last as long as possible.
Keep watching the build video and learn how to build your own and you will enjoy it, plus save money. I only use the quads in 1 of my tanks that I carry with me. My other 2 have my own builds at .25 which I vape around 50 watts. Higher wattage could give you some bad burnt hits if you are not careful.

The speedometer in my truck tells me I can go 130 MPH but I don't do this because I know bad things happen over 75 MPH;)

@badninja not sure I understand here as the quad is rated all the way to 120 watts. I'm running it 80-90 mostly 80 and find the vape enjoyable!

More watts doesnt equal more flavor or vapor.
The coil diameter, resistance, power, wick and airflow all play an important role and work together.

A pre-built coil head isnt in the same world as a properly built coil.

This is where understanding your gear comes into play.
;)

Ok I get it. Thanks guys. Just figured the .25 crown I run around 60-70 so the quad I found I liked at 80-90. I'll try 75 watts. The guys at the shop said they run theirs at like 100 watts lol and the coil last them three weeks. But I did notice that even at 65 watts the quad wasn't bad. Once again thanks for all your help guys and helping a newbie out ;)

I'm surprised the coil is lasting this long as the guy in the shop insisted on priming my quad coil when I bough the kit. I saw him prime it and then he starts it off at like 50 watts and start hauling on it this huge pulls. Then in a matter of a few puffs he has it up to 100 watts chucking huge clouds. I was like wow, with my crown .25 I slowly build up the wattage aren't you going to fast? He was like no it's fine and proceeds to Vap it at 120 on his mod and making me try it at that high wattage so I thought 90 watts was low lol. Hopefully he hasn't shorten the life of my coil we will see.

Glad to help and please keep asking questions as well as doing your own research. Learn about Ohms law and battery safety too. Like Bad Ninja said, learn all about your devices and your tanks and coil building. You have a good start already.;)

I doubt it, the 1st strong pulls were to pull juice into the coil and then he broke the coil in. Try lower and then just crank it up where you like, if that is at 90 then fine, see how long your coil will last at 90 watts. Coil life will also be dependent on the juice you use, Sweeter juices will gunk a coil up faster. 90 just may be your sweet spot on that particular juice.

@gofishtx oh I see says the blind man lol. See when I prime my crown coils I'd never dream of cranking the wattage up. I've seen multiple videos on priming the crown coils and they all advised to start at low wattage and slowly ramp up the wattage 5 watts at a time. Should I change the way I prime those ? They have been lasting long the .25 coils in my crown well over 20-25 tanks which I find is great! So the tfv4 coils get primed a bit differently from what I understand!

No, start them slowly just like you do the crowns. Remember the guy in the Vape shop had lots of extra coils that belong to the shop so if he burns 1 he can just grab another.
