I am not sure it will keep for that long in dark cupboard, lots of mixed opinion's on on web,
cant afford a deep freezer etc. Some I read said dark place fine, others say must be in a freezer,
anyone know shelf life for sure if but in amber bottles and in dark cupboard.

May I suggest you visit @Rossum 's thread and look at the pictures of his experiments?

These are the oldest samples that from Wizard labs that I started this thread with. To jog people's memory, that was just a bit more than 6 moths ago.

Here they are with LED backlighting in the fridge:

and on the usual white background with natural light:

RT-room temp, F-freezer. A picture is worth a thousand words. Now, that brown oxidized nic won't kill you, but I always store my nic in glass in the freezer.

    No you can't
Started vaping somewhere around age 66 over ten years later and it looks like I am not going to stop NOW.

You got so much invested into vaping so far with your health and money what's a few dollars more?

You can pickup one of these for $30.00 - Frigidaire 0.3 cu. ft. 6-Can Retro Mini Fridge in Blue-EFMIS129-BLUE - The Home Depot for few dollars more $138.00 get one of these - Magic Chef 3.5 cu. ft. Manual Defrost Chest Freezer in White-HMCF35W5 - The Home Depot

Don't forget to repack it in smaller amber bottles and store it in a dark cool place you will be OK.

For long term storage, freeze it. It won't loose value.
I've just started using 100 mg/ml nic that I mix down to 25 mg/ml. I bought that liter of 100 mg/ml 4 years ago. I've been keeping in the freezer, and it's fine.

I guess I'm out of the loop...is nicotine becoming hard to buy?. I have a couple liters of 100mG in the fridge which will last me forever.
Yes it is, or soon will be, in the end at least very very difficult. Good thing you have some liters stashed..

Oh, and if you can't freeze it, refrigeration is the next best thing. Come on, clear out some leftovers!
But, good luck whatever you decide.
Agree. I recently found a bottle lying on its side in the back of the fridge, 60 mg/ml concentrate I bought in 2016. I'd completely forgotten about it. It had a red tape seal around the neck and cap. It's still fine, not separated, no bad smell. It smells like nic. From what I've read, it's either the pg or the vg that breaks down over time, but nic never does, and can be stored in a cool dark place. When you're mixing a concentrate with fresh dilutants, you're using very little of the concentrate anyway.

I'm also a nic hoarder and I live in France where there isn't a vape ban but there is a strength restriction of 20mg/ml.

I get mine from hiliq now and it's perfect....should get through the US problems especially if you contact them and explain your needs ;)

But honestly get yourself a freezer...worth it in the long run :)

i've been thinking about that sort of thing, too.
It sounds like lots of folks here have stocked up for longer than a likely lifetime. Has anyone done any planning for post-mortem regarding their stash?
I can't get my brother over here so I can go over where everything is, papers, keys, vape gear. Most of my non-liquid vape hoard is in boxes, and in those boxes I put notes, "these vape supplies go to XXX and XXX at this phone number, XXX etc. Both of my brothers know what vape things look like, from being around me, so they should recognize even the stuff that's in the fridge and on a shelf in use. Then I took pics of the storage boxes and scanned them to those friends, a couple, among my best long time friends, who put me onto vaping after they were off cigarettes already for a year in 2012. They know the stuff is for them if they should hear of my demise, but I had to make them promise to live longer than me, and they have agreed to those terms :)

If I die before DH he knows where all the vape stuff is, but hasn't a clue what to do with it.

(He refuses to learn coil building and mixing)

I figure he'll be here on ECF with pics of my vape stash going, what do I do now?

    Haha

Yes....lovely city. I'm down in the south near Cannes. Lovely climate....I'll never go back!!
All of the south of France is a beautiful dream, the peaceful fields and orchards, the mistral, the charming towns, the Cotes d'Azur (the different colors of the water at each town along the Cotes!), the specific cuisine, the specific music genres of those areas, the art. France is my soul's home. I could be happy anywhere there, anywhere because the trains are well planned to get you around the country efficiently. Paris is so alive with the artist colonies, the intellectual life, the creativity. I really could go on and on.

Does DH vape? If not, that's a fair plan, for him to come on this forum saying "I have this stuff, who wants it?" I think ECF has an area where you can sell things.
