So I finally got to try the fabled Bounty Hunter today. The only taste I get out of it is.......root beer. Pure root beer. It reminds me of Copper Creek House Blend, which I don't particularly care for, but better. Is this what it is supposed to taste like? It's not bad, I guess. I was just expecting something different after reading a lot of reviews. Also, is there a steeping time with it? I've read that NLV steeps it before they ship, but who knows if that's true. Not sure what to make of this stuff at the moment. Maybe it will grow on me.

Tried Boba's last week for the first time also and think it's so-so. Not knock-your-socks off IMO, but pretty good. Maybe I'm just not cut out for these flavors for some strange reason. The three that I mentioned all seem to have some pretty common flavor notes.

That's very true guys, and I don't want to come off as some elitist snob by posting this thread, so no offense meant to anyone who really likes these juices. I've actually been sitting here vaping the BH and although I can't say I'm crazy about it.....it can't seem to put it down for very long. It has a very unique flavor to it. I think there might be a slight clove note to it, and that is what might be turning me off just a bit. I guess I was expecting a bit more of a tobacco, and I'm just not getting much in that dept.

That being said, this seems to be some high quality juice. It wicks well and vapes very well. I'm interested to see how the flavor might change over the next few weeks.

I think the juices that are hugely popular aren't necessarily BETTER than others, they just have more mass appeal. So if someone is expecting a juice that is above and beyond, instead of just a juice that many like, they will be disappointed.

I haven't decided on Bounty Hunter yet. I do like the taste, but it's SO sweet. I enjoy vaping it, but I'm only a few ml in. I can see the sweetness getting old after getting into it more. If that happens, I'm sure adding some really dry tobacco juice will do wonders.

First of all, I love your avatar. Second, I received Bobas today for the first time, tried it, and sold it straight away to someone who will appreciate it. I liked Gorilla Juice (which is Bobas with banana added) and kept that one. Everyone raves about Alice in Vapeland. Out of fifteen flavors I tried, only two would I ever consider vaping twice. I don't know why, and I have no shame. I have a huge cache of juice I like and every once in a while I try new stuff. 80% of the time I don't like it. My favorite vendors are hit and miss sometimes too. That's the way it goes. As for steeping, I've never had a juice I hated at first and liked it after a long steep. Steeping isn't magic. I think you have to at least like the juice to start with. I can tell by now what juices are worth the wait of a long steep and which are just better off in someone else's collection. Thanks for your post. Keep trudging.

I just got 30ml each of Bounty Hunter, New Gold and Renegade last night and I'm hoping I can steep them with the lids off for a few months/years and see if they are any better. BH is horribly sweet, it tastes like cotton candy and corn chips or something. New Gold has the same sweet corn chip flavor but not as bad but still unvapable and Renegade is barely tolerable with the same hint of sweet corn chips but some tobacco flavor.... <sigh>

I really like Boba's from avejuice and it is my only go to so far. I got a sampler pack from The Vapor Station and REALLY like their "Dover", their RY4 and VS4 are OK and vapable to me. However the rest of their stuff has a really strong soggy cigar flavor that I can't stand.

I've tried Boba's, Gorilla Juice, Bounty Hunter, Gold, and House Blend.

I can taste big differences in all of them, except GJ is basically Boba's Banana, at least that's what I call it.

BH, I get some vanilla cakeyness to it. House Blend I get cookie doughish tastes.

Gold though, I don't get much of anything from.

EDIT: My Bounty Hunter has a born on date of January 2013. So it's steeped for at least a few weeks, probably more.

Hey homes! From what I've experienced and gathered; Bounty Hunter didn't change that much. CC House Blend is best vaped young (over all flavor drops precipitously) and GJ (looses it's banana) after a couple of months. Bobas Bounty and Gold get a lot better w/age but I'd give 'em all at least a weeks steep.

I found the opposite with Gorilla Juice, the banana flavour was barely there early on, but became stronger the longer it steeped. I've just ordered some Bounty Hunter and Gold, I'm glad the people who don't like Bounty Hunter in this thread don't like Boba's either. I love Boba's, so hopefully will love Bounty Hunter too.

I find them both to be solid juices.
