Figuring out WHICH mod is more important.

When you get 5 posts, many sub-forums open up. One of those is the APV sub-forum. Make a list of suggestions and characteristics and then go to the forum. People do post their positives and they do post their negatives/issues.

Also, there are many YouTube reviews. Search there. Write notes.

Thinking about budget, I recommend a spare mod/topper. Theft, losing it...for me and my cig avoidance, my mod is critical to have close by.

Good luck!!

You guys and gals have the patience of a saint, I'm afraid not even I can bring myself to reply to these type of threads, my moto is, if you can't put the effort in then don't expect any back..Well done for rising above it, sadly, I cannot.

At times, being of another generation, I find it necessary to have patience. I taught some college and, when reviewing papers, often found they lacked clarity due to assumed understanding.

But, I work with it. Helping someone switch from cigarettes is important.

Too many choices for beginning vapers. I recommend watching a few hours of you tube videos to get an idea.
I still think we need a beginning vaper DVD.

I was actually thinking of starting a thread called "All the things they dont tell you when you start vaping"
Could have advice from everyone here on trustworthy brands, good starter kits, how to change coils, how to prime new coils, juice flavors(not starting with tobacco flavor would be my first recommendation lol), etc. The reason I havent done it yet is that there is so much info, keeping it to simple stuff for new vapers would be tough.

We would need decent cigalikes and maybe ego/evod starter kits. Then an explanation of mech vs regulated mods. And tanks vs drippers and such. Recoiling and rewqicking and the debates about wicking materials? :)
Might be hard to keep it on track....

I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of the veteran / experienced fellow members who have dedicated their time, patience, and expertise to assist me in my transition from "nails" to the healthier lifestyle choice of vapeing. It is without a doubt, the members who make ECF such a great community. It is often confusing, and sometimes frustrating to be new at anything, and vapeing is no exception. I have learned an incredible amount of valuable information reviewing several forum posts since joining ECF last month. As a "veteran in life," I also have learned over the years that folks ask for information and learn in many different ways. Once again, thanks to all who have dedicated their time and patience to assist those of us with less experience.

I was thinking for complete noobs. No drippers/rebuilds of any kind. More like the simple solutions thing only with advice on why your juice tastes bad, why your tank might be leaking, stuff like that. I find that most B&M stores are just trying to make the sale and move product that they dont want kicking around for too long. Not enough info is given to the guy who just picked up an evod setup and doesnt know why its gurgling/leaking/juice tastes terrible.

I was thinking it might. I have to go to work right now, but I will lay out some parameters for the thread tonight and see if I can get a mod on board for posting it in the new members forum. Any idea where I should make the original post? Im thinking General vaping discussion.
I think that General Vaping discussion would be a good place to start and if the moderators deem it proper to move it to New Vapers with a sticky.
