Hello again,

I'm beginning to get to a place where I have a system that is working, but running into problems matching the right e-liquids to the right cartos. problems that don't make sense from what I've read on the forum.

So, I've settled on the v4l batts for now, they're working great for me. I have some e9's too which require different cartos, but i won't talk about them know, it will just confuse the issue.

First, the v4l regular cartos (I think their high resistance?, their less hot) and the WOW's get dry very fast. their really inconvenient to use when I'm out and about because they need refilling frequently. and the drip method doesn't seem to work with them, they need to be filled condom method every time or they burn. This is messy and not always feasible while I"m at work.

I found some Kanger cartos from COV that I LOVE!! but my the juices that I'm trying from gourmet vapor don't work. This doesn't make sense because Gourmet vapor uses 80% PG/20% VG. The COV I have is 100% VG and works great in their own cartos. and it doesn't seem to matter if the Gourmet Vapor's I'm trying are dark or light.

Then when I use either my hot or cool cartos from v4l with Gourmet Vapors, I get too much flavor and TH and no vapor because I can't take a long vape. I'm assuming this is a result of higher PG content. Is there a way to fix this?

It seems I don't have cartos that I can use with Gourmet Vapors. Any suggestions?

Sorry this is so long....

Its all messier than smoking analogs. But it doesn't have to be. I'm not familiar with your batteries or cartos. But there is nothing wrong with diluting your mixes with a little distilled water. If you dilute with grain alcohol, there might be an increased TH. I'd rather drink that than smoke it. Why not prepare a couple of take along cartos for your workday with the condoms back on it. Another option is a 3.5 ml tank setup. Mine lasts me a workday easy. I'm sure you will get answers to your specific questions. Good luck, you will get it worked out.

Have you tried buying a little bit of VG from your local Wally-world and adding a couple of drops for more vapor production? It may dilute the flavor a little bit, but you'll get more vapor.

good question. what section of the store would I find that? and which carto should I add it to fix which of my dilemma's?

so, whenever I can't get a draw just dilute?? that's too easy :)

I did wonder what kind of alcohol folks were talking about. I couldn't even imagine inhaling isopropyl alcohol! I don't know where to get grain alcohol. some friends of a boyfriend tricked me into taking a big chug of it once...that was awful! and mean!

I have the same system as you but haven't tried Kanger cartos. Love v4l batts. Do you think you need to fiddle witht he carto? sometimes, the connection isn't as good as it should be and you need to pull the little post out a little to get it to work. Check out fixing and modifying cartomizers in the general e cig section. Let me know how it works. I may try some other cartos. The WOW cartos get too hot and I have some of the cooler ones ordered, but they aren't here yet.

My but aren't we full of questions today??

Any PGA (Pure Grade Alcohol) I don't use that myself, but you can by VG at the Pharmacy area at WalleyWorld (here I thought I was the only one who called it that! lol!) They should have it around with the hand creamers and such, but if not,
ask the Pharmacist. (Don't know why mine keeps it in back for some reason) You can also buy it real cheap online. Just be SURE it's USP grade VG or PG you buy!!

I haven't had this issue the v4l stuff...it's wierd how we all get different experiences with the same stuff. I do have this issue with le cigs cartos. you have to pull up the post to get a connection and they have a very hard draw.

No do not use whiskey. That will most likely change the flavor quite a bit. If you can't buy or get a hold of PGA, then use regular vodka. Just make sure it's regular vodka and not flavored vodka

I love you unpretentious user name??? really though. what if I like whiskey (i'm beginning to sound like an al-key). would it be harmful to inhale it (or maybe I should just mainstream it...)

good question. what section of the store would I find that? and which carto should I add it to fix which of my dilemma's?

You can find VG in the skin care section of Walmart or probably most pharmacies. The brand I got from Walmart is Humco Glycerin; it will say "USP" somewhere on the label. You might use a couple drops of this to increase vapor & decrease throat hit & flavor just a bit in the Gourmet Vapor juice for your V4L cartos. If it's too thick to wick well I'd add a drop of distilled water. The alcohol is PGA, or pure grain alcohol, aka 190 grain, Everclear, etc. It provides an irritant some folks confuse with "throat hit". I've tried it & don't recommend it, but different strokes, etc. You "could" use whiskey but you'd wind up altering the flavor of your juice - perhaps to your liking, perhaps not. (I haven't tried that and don't plan to, though there are some interesting whiskey flavorings available for DIY mixing.)
Good luck, & happy vaping! :)

well. the state of Mass does not allow the sale of PGA. No surprise, we have so many regulations that our regulations have regulations. No lie.

I tried using a little to thin out some juice already in a carto. maybe a little successful. has anyone else tried this?? were you successful? if so, what was your trick?
