Brainstorming - DIY WIRE CRIMPS??

Hey all,
Was looking at wire crimps for joining NR-R-NR wire together, since im getting sick of dealing with twisting and the issues that come with it. Rather that searching around town for them, i was thinking of something we all can use that we all have sitting around!!

SYRINGES!!! Grab your wire cutters or and shears and simply cut small sections of syringe and put your wire through, and grab your grips and pinch the tube together to make your crimp!! I'm sitting at work right now so i can't actually try it, so i cannot confirm if it works but i imagine the steel from syringe wouldn't be very resistive. It should work, as i used the same syringe steel to mod my UD AGI in tank mode, slipped in that spring cut at the perfect length. It worked like a dream, and i cant see it dissapointing here either!!

I think this will work out perfect as any small tube crimps i've seen for sale at hardware stores are usually either too long or too thick. These will be completely customizable. If anyones awake at this hour and has time to try, please respond!

I don't do NR-R-NR attys, but - if it works for you, you don't need to chop up your fill needles. You can buy syringe needle, stainless tubing in the most common sizes - for about a buck a foot. Check Amazon, under "Hypodermic Tubing".

If it cracks - hypo needle tubing can be highly tempered and brittle - you might want to anneal it with a small torch.
