Hello everyone....just started vaping about a 2 weeks ago with a trail blu and also a trail njoy. While looking through your wonderful forum, I saw that a lot of you were suggesting the 510. So I ordered a 510 disposable from Madvapes. I love it. It took awhile to get used to how to hit it and the difference between an analog menthol and vaping menthol....I must say I am hooked now.
I had a couple of questions, hope they don't sound to stupid. How long does the average atty last? I noticed that several kits come with several cartomizers, but only one atomizer. The second questions is about dripping...I see a lot of people do it, is it because the flavor better that way? and exactly what is the process for dripping (I see that you can buy a drip tip).

Thanks so much in advance for your help. I absolutely love this site.

2 weeks is the average but somehow mine has been lasting for a month or longer. i do maintenance on them like once or twice every 2 weeks depending on the juices they have gone through.

Yup. as the juice is directly on the heating element (atomizer) the flavor and th gets much more noticeable and not to mention warm vapors as well.

and exactly what is the process for dripping (I see that you can buy a drip tip).
Its just dripping 2-4 drops (4 for a fresh atty n 2-3 for subsequent vape) of juice directly onto the atty then vape. With a driptip, u can drip w/o removing the tip (hence the name) and vape w/o getting ur lips burnt (but not like u will vape directly with lips on the atty ^^;)

Thanks so much in advance for your help. I absolutely love this site.

No question is stupid. Stupid is only those who doesn't know and Don't ask. So do not be afraid to ask. Welcome to ECF. hope those ans ur qns. Vape on!

I don't know anything about "dripping" other than you shouldn't do it when driving and some say "not to". As far as atomizers, these can last from 1 minute to many months. They can be cleaned, quite effectively I might add. Cartomizers are great once you find the flavor(s) you like as they hold quite a bit of juice and can vape all day with them. A cartomizer is a cart & atomizer all in one. I use the Boge 2 ohm with my eGo batteries. Wonderful combo. I also have regular carts and atomizers which allow for testing and experimenting with flavors. Carts will last quite a while too and you can wash them, reuse them and also repack the poly fill with new. Once you have say 10 of them, they'll last indefinately if you clean them.

Welcome to ECF! and congrats on 2 weeks :)

Thanks so much. I just finished my very last analog about 5 minutes ago and have no plans for buying another pack....ever!
And a big thanks for letting me know about a cartomizers being both the cart and atomizer in one, that was causing me a lot of confusion. I am sure this will take a lot of trial and error on my part, but I feel great about finding out about it and being able to ditch the analogs.
