After 2 weeks with my over priced Smoking Everywhere e-cig, I decided to try something different and ordered a "Hybrid" from Pure Smoker. It came today and I charged the first battery for several hours (not 11...) and gave it a try. Awsome easy draw and a lot of vape, but it tastes terrible! I've tried refilling one of the carts with good e-juice (Healthy Smoke shop Coconut) which I've been enjoying in the SE e-cig for the past week, but it still tastes like chemicals. Kind of like the SE model tastes when the cart is almost empty. Has anyone else had this problem? Does it go away? I don't remember having it with the SE.

Thanks,
Doug

I think it also depends on the learning curve of the specific model.

My first day with DSE901 was... that it produced borderline vapors, no matter how hard I inhaled. My 2nd day was little better. My 3rd day (today) - I'm enjoying it more than my DSE 801 and rn4081, with so much throat hit - it just hit the spot for craving an analog. :)

The bad taste is a primer fluid put in the atomizer at the factory. You can either keep using it and just don't inhale until it burns itself away or you can boil the atomizer in water for a couple minutes and blow it dry through the battery end. Put a few drops of juice in it and the bad taste should be gone or nearly gone.
