Hi!
Found the Forums and have been lurking for a month, as well as vaping for a month and a half now. I found a bunch of great information about RBA's and juice here which has helped me make some of my buying and vaping choices.
I was a pack and a half smoker for 30 years and recently made the complete cut over two weeks ago, no more cigarettes. I have not been without a smoke this long since I started smoking, already I am feeling better!
I started out with an itaste MVP for the first three weeks, and last week I jumped into rebuildable mods.
I bought a K100 mod and a Phoenix V10 dripper. I started off with conservative coils with 30g kanthal @ .7 ohms and have since moved onto 26g kanthal @ .4 ohms and cotton wicks. I picked up on the building of coils and wicks pretty quickly with the help of information found here.
Since I am still new to the vapor world, I may have little yet to contribute, but I am sure I will have plenty to chime in with as I continue vaping.

Cheers!
Steve

Congrats Steve! We have all been there and there will be many more after you! Never feel you have nothing to contribute. The best info or experiences have come from the newest of new! There is no prize for knowing the most. If there was, don't feel bad, I didn't win either! Keep after it and welcome from the shadows! Happy Vaping my friend!

This is how it starts! Watch out for your wallet as the hobby aspect takes over. I started vaping around the same time as you and I'm still acquiring mods and rebuildables. The financial break-even is receding into the future, but what fun!

Welcome!

Oh the break-even is long gone! LOL I have really took off running with this, plus I am paying for two, the girlfriend and I both started vaping at the same time. She will be on her own soon enough though, all she has to do is buy her own juice now since I bought us both MVPs, tanks, juice and mods.

Congrats on more than 2 weeks analog free. That is a huge accomplishment. And don't sell yourself short just because you are somewhat new. We learn from each other's experience. There is another place I hang out where we let folks know that not only do we "not regret our past nor wish to shut the door on it.", but we also let people know that it is our pasts that will make us uniquely useful to someone else. So your experience, before you started vaping and after has great worth.

Amazing how we feel better within a short time after transitioning to vaping from smoking. Your enthusiasm and willingness to share are great traits in the vaping world. The people who seem the most enthused also seem to be the ones who get the most pleasure out of vaping.

Also, when figuring out the "break even" point to include the cost savings of improved health. Cuz it's priceless !!

Keep the vape and namaste.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I am pretty happy with being analog free,I still want a cigarette now and then, but I am taking it one day at a time. Just for today.
