After 3 months' regular usage, I can confidently report that the VTR maintains output power much better than the Vamo V2. It's very consistent all the way until the end, when the red light blinks as you push the fire button.

BTW, bottom-fed atomizers seem the latest rage. I tried Vapage bottom fed hybrid, cannot say there's much difference. Am I missing something?

How does the threads seem? I had a Vamo 2 and the threads stripped very easy.

Picked up a VTR in Nov (I guess this was an original v1 since the wheel rotates). I loved it right up until.........................

The 510 threads on mine just stripped out on mine in early March. I did not overtighten any tanks while I was using it, just normal wear and tear from my perspective. There is no way to fix it that I know of.

$100 for 5 months = $20 a month. Basically a rental fee.

I probably won't replace it with another VTR.

YMMV.

The only thing I think I miss about smoking is the presence of the pack in my pocket, I think this might fill that void. I have one on the way and can't wait to try it.

Try having the weight of a carton in your pocket. With VTR that's what you'll get :) Hope you enjoy it! I've got one but it took a back seat to a reo grand. Now that's only slightly heavier than a pack of smokes and fits in the pocket better :)

Good luck! Good times!

I picked one up today & it don't have the rotatable wheel at the 510 connection, glad of that as I didn't even know of that, the only thing that spins is the VV/VW wheel, I have the MVP 2.0 & luv it but got into batteries with a nemesis & then got a Zmax & a Vamo 5, only 1 day of use & I already know this is gonna be a top contender for my devices, either this one, it is made rock solid no rattles, just very very well built, my Vamo I really don't care for some reason I like the Zmax better, but back on track, this is one device I'm very glad I bought, usually takes me a day or 2 to tell if I'm gonna really like it, the VTR took 2 puffs! Lol
