Hello everyone

quick question....i'm looking to place an order on flavorings for DIY ejuice..but I am still sketchy about the canadian border patrol. Will they seize my order if they find a bunch of bottles of flavorings? I mean they don't have any nicotine in them. Should I just say they are going to be used for soap/candle scents?

Has anyone successfully brought flavors over the border in bulk? I'm talking flavorings from Capella and what not...not actual ejuice.

Thanks!!

if you are going to using flavors no nics you could buy food grade flavoring from grocery stores to use ;)

I'm mixing my DIY ejuice..I already have nicotine unflavored and pg/vg. I didn't know you could buy flavors from the grocery store...what kind of flavorings do they have?

From what i've read ppl buy theirs from Capella, Flavor art etc......not the grocery lol.

any Food Grade Essential Oils used in baking like LorAnn brand, Bell Flavors and Fragrance

browse your grocery store's baking isle and pick up any food grade flavorings ;) although usually limited as the intended use is for baking it is essentially the same thing used for ejuice...that being said unless canada is against bakers ;) bringing in "baking goods" shouldn't be an issue

Just relax, your not smuggling anything. Unless your bringing in gallons of the stuff, when making your declaration don't even mention the flavoring. If they search, find and question just state its some stuff your mom asked you to pick up.... she makes cakes... you forgot all about them as it's nothing really... If you have any tobacco flavorings, 555, RY4 type stuff, relabel or re-bottle. A 1/2 full Gatorade bottle.... "It's my pee bottle", trust me, they wont touch it:)

I live 6 minutes up from the border and go over to pick up parcels all the time. I have to have a detailed invoice and payment of the vape gear I bring back into Canada BUT I don't bring back any juices just cause its such a grey area for CBSA and they will assume and take it just cause they can. The guards are more fasinated with my gear and I quit smoking than they are if I'm carrying juices but I'm not risking all my american vape gear co-op buys over a couple jugs of juice.
They ask you at the border if your bringing alcohol, guns or tobacco into Canada and your answer for the juice should be no since juice isn't a tobacco but according to health canada nicotein is a narcotic so its your call to how you want to handle the border guards. Empty and clean some american 7up bottles to transport your nic base in the trunk with a bunch of groceries. The french on the bottles might peak intrest if your going to try canadian 7up bottles. Also having "deer in the headlights" look at the border also states your up to something, but its mostly up to the border guard to weather they are educated in the ejuice, most aren't and just assume then take it away.

There are a few Canadian vendors that carry many of the flavourings available in the US--like Lorann, Capella, TPA and FlavorWest. HappyVaper is one vendor that has quite a variety, and offers them at reasonable prices. Personally, I don't see a need to shop in the US for flavourings when I can get everything I need here.

Just my :2c:

I'm not bringing EJUICE...i'm bringing flavorings over the border....which is just food grade flavoring (Concentrated flavoring). No nic. and from what othrs have said..i think it's safe to bring over. Which I will do.

I'm definitely not going to risk bringing ejuice with nicotine over the border. And I also like 15 minutes away from the border and pick parcels up all the time from the US :)

I ordered 4 50ml juices from Good Life Vapor. Hope they don't get stuck at the boarder.

My brother, a friend of mine and myself order a lot from various US Vendors, a few delays but nothing confiscated or returned to shipper.

It's still a chance, but I believe for most of us small buyers, 99% get what they ordered eLiquid wise.

As a rule if I'm ordering something gear wise that's costly, or going through a coop, I won't attach eliquids to the order just in case, lol.
