I have no idea where to put this, and it's kind of a noob question so I decided on here.

I've been vaping for a few months now. I have some new toys, a Nova tank, DC tank and some nova clearomizers. My questions is, are these babies going to leak when carried. I have ego-c, and ego-c twist batteries that I've previously been using the type b tanks with. I have my little zipper bag I carry them in my purse with. Are these tanks going to be ok in there? Are they going to leak everywhere? I'd really like the ability to carry them with me, but I don't want a mess either.

Thanks in advance!

I use a lot of carto tanks. I carry them filled with drip tip on top in clear plastic pill vials that have well fitting press on tops. If anything gets loose, it stays in the vial. I generally go out with one mounted on a PV for running around. If going away for several days all tanks go into their vials, batteries into their cases and PV's with batteries out and juice bottles all pack into a medium sized very lightweight camera bag. I use a Reo Grand these days while driving. Less fuss.

I haven't tried the nova yet, but exclusively use clearos (right now Phoenix TC, Phoenix BC, and Fluxo). Aside from the rare clearo gone haywire and dumps the juice out, or the drip tip gets knocked off so the juice leaks out, I have no problems with juice leaking from the clearos. I carry my supplies in a pencil case (makeup case, from WalMart) and keep the batteries in the seperate bottom pouch from my juice and clearos just in case. I bought this case so I wouls have enough room to hold my infinity pro. Which was dumb, since it is never farther away than my pocket, usually in my hand.

I have terrible luck when I'm out of the house. My setups will work great until the moment I pull out of the driveway, at which point everything starts leaking or stops working. And then I'll pray for a red light so I can fix or clean up whatever is going wrong, but noooo.... these situations are the only time I get green lights all the way to my destination. I swear, the next time I'm in a hurry, I'll just mess up one of my PV's on purpose so I can get there faster. :glare:

On a more serious note, I graduated from cartomizers to the stardust clearomizers and the CE3's. The stardusts work OK as long as I don't move them around too much. They work better at home where I can keep them sitting upright on a flat surface. The CE3's almost never leak, unless of course I'm driving. I swear the little buggers are sentient and are doing it on purpose (it's more likely caused by the dramatic temperature change of leaving my air conditioned house and getting into the oven that is my car).

I have a Vivi Nova tank arriving this weekend. I'm hoping it's more dependable. I haven't tried any of the tanks/clearomizers you mentioned, so I can't say how well they perform on the move.

I went to the local tobacco store and bought a black leather pipe case. The top zippered pocket/pouch is lined with a real thick plastic of some sort for keeping pipe tobacco fresh so I figured if anything leaked I could just wipe it out. I keep 3 or 4 Clearomizers and a couple of 10ml bottles of my favorite juice in there. The bottom zippered pouch was designed to hold a standard tobacco pipe and it's big enough to hold even the big tank systems and a few toothpicks and tissues for cleaning the connections. Best part is I only paid $12.00 for it and it's very nice leather and it will fit in a shirt pocket.

I have been using the dual coil clearomizer for about a week now. I purchased some juice from a local shop that makes the flavor while you wait. It's much thicker than the juices I have ordered online. The juice I have ordered online WILL leak, get drip down and gurgles. More than likely it's because it's a dual coil for one and secondly the juice is too thin. I have been thinking I will start making my own juice. Since I have been using the juice from the local store it's very nice in all aspects and above all no leaks!!

Hope this helps ya!!

Carto tanks are my ultiimate on the go device. No leaking and enough juice to last at least a day. Other than that if i'm traveling i just toss everything in my ego zipper case and toss it in my backpack. I haven't had any leaking problems with my carto tanks, but the vision clearos can be a little gurgly at first when you take them outta the case and start vapin it.

For me, the key is to have 4 or so devices so if 1 is leaking, you can just toss it to the side and vape something else until you're at a place that you can fiddle with it.

I have noticed the same thing. I don't know if it's the vibrations that cause it but it sure is frustrating!

The Good News is that my Vivi Nova has never leaked, ever. So you have that to look forward to.

Relax, Enjoy!

I don't even really know Belle. I bought my first kits from China and they said the clearomizers were CE4's. I was duly impressed. I had and eGo-T before that and it leaked like crazy. The CE4's (what they call the staromizers in the US) never leaked and I never had a problem with them. Since then I've bought what the Chinese call the CE5's and CE6' and it's the same thing with a couple of minor variations. Still the same tank, wicks variable from 1 to 4 and about the same cap. NEVER a problem with any of them. They're sealed on the top by the mouthpiece and on the bottom by a press-fitted seal.
