As much as I just LOVE my Nebula, and will continue to use that when I'm out and about, I've been looking around for something a little heavier duty for at home, that also wouldn't break my newbie budget. After seeing it suggested several times to others, I finally went and ordered the kGo from Northwest Vapors. I wanted the Gold, but that wasn't one of the options so I guess maybe they were sold out, so I got chrome, lol. Looking forward to it, but I have to say, for a brand new newb, and someone who has only used a two piece so far, it is a little intimidating, and I hope I can figure it all out when it gets here.

Tami, the Kgo is a excellent choice...as fast as possible, order some LR cartos(1.7 to 2 ohms)...you do not want to be stuck with the atty/cart set up which is probably the least fav method of vaping...a Kgo with LR cartos is about as close to fiddle free as 3.7v vaping can get...my preference is for the Smoktech 1.7ohm XL cartos such as these ...also available from hoosiersecigsupply.com , madvapes.com and others...good luck and Happy vaping........

Hoosiers has both the 1.7 Smoktechs and the 2.0 Boges...they are both good, the 1.7s just slightly longer...the Smoktechs are XL sized(hold 2ml juice)...the Boges can be had(from Hoosiers) in either std size(1ml) or the XL sizes...once you get used to them, and if needed, you can move up to a carto tank BUT, get used to cartos first...doit...doitnow...doitquick............

Ordered the cartos for a little bit of ease when needed. I also ordered a drip tip. Now, correct me if I'm wrong. Since the kGo is a closed battery (am I saying that right), I can just put the drip tip on and no cart or carto to "taste" new flavors? Is that right? Just drop a few drops down onto the atomizer?

...absolutely correct...the atty probably has some very nasty "primer" fluid...blow it out...add some juice...blow it out...add some more juice and vape without inhaling...when it gets dry tasting add another 2r3 drops and inhale.......

I do the drip method as opposed to using cartomizers. Which involves simply dripping the juice directly on to the atomizer. This can be done through a drip tip, or removing the tip completely. Removing the tip can be a pain for dripping all the time so I make sure I have decent drip tips attached to my units. On new atomizers it may take an extra drop or 2 to get the atomizer soaked so it works properly, once primed usually 2 drops each subsequent time will suffice.

For tasting new juices remember to use new or cleaned atomizers/cartomizers, as many juices do not taste very good when combined with others. Found that out the hard way. :p

Now I am unfamiliar with dripping using a cartomizer so I will let someone more accomplished with cartos describe how that works.

Well, I got my KGO today and I really, really like it! I tried it both as a drip with the atomizer, and with the cartomizers I ordered, and like it both ways. Didn't care for the preloaded cartridges it came with but that was just the flavoring. Not going to mess with the carts anyway.

The one nit I have is that I ordered the kit in chrome and it showed up on the order as chrome, but Northwest Vapors sent black instead. They're (there are two in the kit) classy looking and I like them, but still... lol.

TamiP, chrome is a fingerprint magnet. I avoid chrome like the plague. I love anything brushed stainless steel, and then red, and then black, and then other colors...in that order for when my favs aren't an option or not available and I don't want to wait.

The oopsie is probably going to turn out to be a good oopsie.

Kgos are excellent PVs. I just ordered two more sets from another vendor who has cartos in the kit. I didn't want to pay for something I would just throw away without using. I have to order a couple extra USB chargers (I have lots of wall warts), so I can charge all my Kgos at one time, if, and when I want to.

MadJack's suggestion about the LR cartos is spot-on.

You made a great choice in increasing your PV family. Why more vendors don't carry the Kgos is a mystery to me. I love them.

Thanks Sheyna, I really never thought about the fingerprints, I just thought it would be nice to have some variety, but you're right. I'm not at all unhappy really. They're very attractive. I really like the hit off them. I am using a surge protector with eight spots to charge mine at the moment, although I only have three chargers now (2 for the Nebula bats and 1 now for the KGO) I want to get another KGo charger and one more Nebula charger and I'll be all set, lol. At least with the KGo now I think I'll feel less a slave to the charger. hahaha
