It sounds like a polycarbonate or polycarb blend tank. Cola is one of the worst "tank crackers," it's right up there with cinnamon and banana. :(

I noticed on Mt Baker site that they had a list of juices that are known to crack plastic tanks. Since I'm new to this, I wasn't aware that was possible. Does anyone know why this happens? Is it because some mixtures run hotter than others? Btw, Harrington, I hope I wasn't being rude by asking a question on your thread.

I am not a rocket surgeon by any stretch of the imagination. I read a fairly long explanation about it, which of course I didn't really understand and can't remember most of (I really need to try and find that again for my files). I think is has something to do with the way molecules (which I think should be called multicules 'cuz there's always lot of them) that make up the plastic-whatever-thingys are held together - I seem to recall there was something about some configurations being "tight" while others were "loose" and would come apart easier...

Obviously, I have almost no freaking clue what I'm talking about. I must Google.

ETA: This is not the article I read, but it's easy to understand. http://blog.jetcigs.com/why-do-some-e-liquids-crack-plastic-tanks/

I have heard these are pretty durable gonna order me one this week...Pro DCTank Tube

Now I do have one of these and I have had no problems with it with any juice so far...Smoktech 510 3.5ml Dual Coil Tank (DCT)

I also have a tank from IBtanked that is made out of glass and with stainless steel caps everything is pretty much safe in them.

You want to get a tank that is made out of polyprophylene that is the durable one that can resist a lot of the juices that can crack a tank. If it was me and if you can afford it go with the IBtank they are soooo pretty!
