I want to buy a new mechanical mod, and I want to know if there's a real difference between those pins. Will my vaping become stronger if the negative and positive are made from gold or silver against the standard common pins found on most china mods?

Better conductivity *throughout the mod* (a pin won't make much difference if the switch isn't all that great, etc.) means less voltage drop. You will get something closer to your batteries real voltage with less drop.
