JUICY VAPOR's Brick and morter store on Niagara Falls Blvd. Tonawanda New York

Hi everyone,
This is my first post in the forum. Thank God for discovering vaping! I had been an analog user for well over 30 years. I quit on many occasions. A few times for years and came back to it like an ididot. I was introduced to vaping by a good friend that went back to driving truck. Previously he had been smoking 3 packs a day on the road. He purchased a Smoov 78 mm and introduced me to it. He smokes menthol so what a blast that was.. I was blown away and I had to have one. He referred me to his supplier (Juicy Vapor) in Tonawanda NY. I took the 45 minute drive after doing some research on the web.
So more about Juicy Vapor. Most of you will be buying online and may have similar experience there or in person? It was the middle of the week when I went there. The parking lot was full and folks in and out. Being a Newbie, I felt like an ididot and didn t ask enough questions. The (probably) Stoned Salesman (Not that I d care if I got good service). Wasn t interested in too much aside from making a sale and getting on to the next customer. I purchased a Smoov starter kit with 2 batteries and was referred to their supposed Marlboro flav(Maxibro). He suggested an 18 ml bottle. I bought that and a smaller one. He didn't tell me that tobacco flavors are hard to replicate. I may have bought another flav or 2 but was daunted by selection. The first layout was over $120 buxx. I was ready to turn around and try to return the vile tasting mixture but they have a zero return policy and Juicy Vapor is always right.
(Just so I don t overlook. The Smoov System has been wonderful. Well worth the price and suggested by this Newbie)
Well the saying "Once Burned twice shy" Didnt register initially in my case until a few more visits. I felt my dissatisfaction was somewhat my fault for not researching more and not researching other vendors.
I went back to their website and went through all their flavors and selected ones for purchase that interested me. Returned again with my GF and was assisted by their female manager (Angela.. I think) She was more helpful but I was getting that workers seemed almost arrogant? (me perhaps again?) While I was on the website I had went to About us tab and found bios on the 2 owners. Then I went to a few previously broadcast Webcasts. Truth be told I was rather shocked by Brad McManara's demenor and appearance. I assumed it was an act. Well it wasn t . I had kind of noticed that on first visit with his interaction with customers and staff. My GF in Advertizing Sales introduced herself to Mr. MacNamara (as she sometimes does) and offered her services. We thought him rather rude.
On my 3rd (and last trip) They had 3 coupons for 30% total celebrating the arrival of the Salegirl's(Manager)Daughter (Congrats BTW) I printed coupon. I didn t expect to be up there and didn t have the coupon w me when I returned. I ended up buying 2 pks of cartos(about $15 apiece) and alot of sample 3 mils and a few larger. After dumping about $12 in the skill crane (good stuff inside) and items. I spent about 80 buxx. I checked out on a checkout in the lounge. Right after I rang out I remembered the coupon when I noticed sign by entryway counter. The Sales girl said she could do nothing after the sale to apply discount. (The $24 off would have been great as I m on Military Disability) Mr. Macnamara came strolling by and I asked if he could apply the discount. He basically chastised me because was incorrect and acted like I was trying to rob him. The sale had ended a day earlier I was informed. The last thing I needed after spending my money was a spanking.
Well they say (" You do good work for someone. They will tell a few people. You do bad work and they tell everyone") So that is what brings me here. To hopefully get them to change their image (The 1st impression and people are your business and sometimes the customer is right) To improve Juicy Vapor has to realize they are not the only company out there and they need to respect and cater (somewhat) to their customers or they won t be in business after the hype wears off and the curtain is pulled back.

There are alot of (probably) well deserved reviews about JV and their products. As I stated tis may be my special experience. I wish you the best when working with them as they do alot of good but there is negative too.

I.E. from this fourm and found others on the web.
(The user was being somewhat petty about shipping time I will state. I thought response was condesending)

"Alex,

You are a little mis informed in your information there. We never work weekends when it comes to internet orders, they are processed Monday – Friday ONLY. So Saturday and Sunday do not count. Yes our retail location may be open on Saturday, but that is retail staff, not internet staff.

You placed your order on September 15th at 2:15am and we shipped it on Sept 20 early am as we had issue with postal software on the 19th.

Even so, we were on morning of day 4.

We take an approach of making each individual bottle and are not just throwing bottles in a box and mailing it out. This is an artisan approach that happens 1 bottle at a time. If you do not like this, and can not handle that we may be 1 day out of our quoted time, then sobeit. We value each and every customer we have, but we are not going to be called liars when we state that the turn around time changes time to time. It used to state we did not work weekends in web manufacturing, but I will be sure to clearly explain that on the website.

Kind regards,
Brad McNamara"

Check out webcast for more insight on Brad.

They say taste is subjective. I m not going to be SUBJECTED to JV anymore. I was running around touting the benefits of vaping and referring alot of people to Juicy Vapor. No more!

So on to the juices. Hopefully other companys have better flavors because I have been disappointed with most of JuicyVapors juices. Perhaps it is my Smoov but I thing works great and everyone seems to like it too for a cig style. (Typing this is making me want a Marlboro..Eeechhh. Not really)

These are PG/VG nice throat hit and vapor!
Maxibro- I wish I could have returned it. Vape once in a while. Just eehhh. I got an 18 ml bottle
Bacon- if you cooked a human It might be the taste? If I had VG and PG I d mix with liquid smoke and probably be much better. Ptooie!!
Apple- okay. Whatever u say. I m not getting it. At all!
Pipe Tobacco with apple. No apple to speak of. Its growing on me. Kinda tastes like a pipe and I used to smoke one. I got an 12 ml so I have to like for now. I wouldn t buy again.
Ape treats- (Banana, Apple and Tobacco) Not great, not much banana no apple
Black and Blueberry Waffle.. Blueberry somewhat there when you start to mix flavors they may get muddled a little waffle I guess. Could have used some maple if not in there.
Cola - A harsh hitter but you get used to. Great cola flavor I could vape all day guess.
Aunties Vive (whiskey and cola) see above. Not getting whisky at all
Barks and Janes(Bartles and James) Wine and berrys I think. I grew on me and liked it and used 3ml . Still some in carto
(I JUST SWITCHED BATTERIES) I m trying them as I go

Bananas Foster- Its pretty good. I get sick of it after a bit I love Bananas. I should have got there Circus Peanuts Flav
Cinnamon and Apples. I loved and had some Vape fests with.. Not an all dayer for me. Didn t get apple at all but a stark contrast and the cinnamon would overpower anything

Ecto Plasma- Is this what all the hype is all about? I recall it is a Lemon and Lime Punch? It was very good. I used a 3 mil and would get again but I hope there is better out there.

Wickid Menthol- Not a Menthol Guy. Was 1st juice that got me started. I only took a puff or 2 but was hooked on Vaping for Vapor and throat hit. Definitely Super Menthol if thats what you like. Mixed a few drops with Maxibro and was pretty good

My GF had throat discomfort so we tried some in just VG or PG knowing less throat hit, Flavor or vapor. She stopped doing. Still smokes stinkys but about 3 a day.

VG Abstinith- Wormwood, anise, clove and herbs. Nice vapor Flav all there but not as pronounced w/o PG. Gerped a 6 ml almost. Reccomended but VG PG I bet

VG Grape Bubblegum-Without PG.. Flav weak but ther but it was our choice of VG probably nice w mix

VG Blue Raspberry No pronounced flavor w/o PG I bet?

VG Wake and Vape (Coffee and Tobbaco) Its there good taste and vapor for VG. I can t take much of myself

I also have VG Camel Toe (supposedly Camel) My opinion. Buy a 3 ml if youhave to try it. For Kelly and I and the other 4 people that tried it. It is Horrendous. The only good thing I can say about it is its terrible! If you can t do tobacco stay away from it. I don t have a clean carto but the only thing Camel Toe is going into is the garbage!!

Taking out that Wake and Vape.. Enough of that!

These are all just PG

Scream Berry. Recommended by Salesgirl on 3rd and last visit (Berrys, White Chocolate and whatever else she described) Creamy and Berrys. Its okay.. Not my favorite but pretty good. I used the whole 3 ml almost, but it never grew on me.

Last is PG Black Cherry, I m sure better PG/VG but can t do for long. As Carto warming up getting better.

In conclusion. This may have been my unique experience. Three times is supposed to be a charm. It wasn t. I won t be back to Juicy Vapor. I know alot of people that smoke and they would have got some business. I think I gave them more that enough of a chance.

All the best,

Jeff Bennett

Another post about Juicy Vapors Tonawanda NY. It may just be me but seeing bad here and elsewhere pertaining to their demenor and lack of professionalism

Juicy Vapor -Beta Club bait and switch. BEWARE

I have made a few orders of juices with Juicy Vapor and for the most part have been pleased, until now. I was planning on making regular purchases with the company and thought their new "beta testers club" would be a nice addition to some other flavors I would be ordering. This is what the write up for this product reads on the website :

"Want to help us pick flavors to release to the general public? Join our Beta Tester Club. For $15.00/month we will send you 5- 6ml bottles of new and coming flavors that we wish to release. You will get these at least one month before the general public, and all we ask is for you to report back and tell us what you think of these flavors."

If you are considering this beta club for yourself, DO NOT BELIEVE THIS WRITEUP. THEY ARE MISLEADING THEIR CUSTOMERS AND YOU WILL NOT RECEIVE WHAT THEY ARE ADVERTISING.

When I received my order I noticed they were all 3 ml bottles and not 6 ml. No big deal right? I figured it was just a slight mistake. I called the company thinking it would be easily sorted out... wow was i wrong. I spoke to a man who seemed to know nothing about this special but claimed to be the owner. As soon as I mentioned that I had received only half of what I paid for he became very rude, insulting and hostile. He claimed that if I received 3 ml bottles then they were supposed to be 3 ml bottles. I explained that it says 6 ml bottles right on the website and that is what I ordered, I would not have ordered it if they were 3. After a long pause and some thinking he told me that the website and I were wrong, and that somebody "must have changed it" and they are changing it back right now (it has not been changed at all) He actually began shouting "why would we sell them for less than their value? we can't just dish things out to people like that!". By the way, this is advertised on the site as a special deal, in other words, less than original value. He was extremely insulting when I said I was under the impression that I was to test these and report back and he acted like it was ridiculous that I would think that. I explained that is exactly how it is described on the site and that is pretty much what beta testing means. He continued to berate me for inquiring about it and insisted that the point of the "special" is that you have to actually pay EXTRA to get samples early, and not that you pay LESS to test samples and report back like the site says. Even if that completely inaccurate description is what it's "supposed" to be, IT IS NOT WHAT I BOUGHT! If someone purchases a shirt online and they get a pair of pants you can't just justify it by saying it's "supposed to be" pants! I told him to remove my card from file and take me off the beta testers list, that prompted him to scoff at me again because apparently he also thought it was ridiculous that I would think think this was a continuing service that got sent out every month, even though once again, that is EXACTLY what i signed up for. If this really was the owner like he claimed to be then he has absolutely no idea what is going on in his own company and flat out refused to give me what I paid for, and in an extremely hostile way. Absolute worst service by an "owner" I have ever experienced. I am in shock over how somebody could be so clueless and rude to a customer who legitimately got ripped off. Everybody else I have dealt with there has been very pleasant but this is a joke. The product is not even close to what it is advertised as.

I too looked into the same special and I can confirm it did say six ml and was suppose to be a monthly shipment. If what you say happened that is inexcusable!

I started vaping 3 months ago....Lit up 5 cigs in that time, maybe 2 puffs on each one. They taste horrible now. I live one mile from the Juicy Vapor store on Niagara Falls Blvd. I spent like $150 on hardware & maybe $25 a week on juice. If not for vaping I'd still be smoking ciggies. I've had no problems with JV but then I don't do the mail order thing. I agree, it's a great advantage to have a bricks & mortar shop to deal with. good luck, ppl.

Lots of us exist :) And we have quite a few vape shops too!

There is Vapor Trail on South Park. This is my all time favorite vape shop. Look up VWO on YouTube and Facebook - Andy and CJ are instrumental in getting other vapers together. Those two are awesome. 99.5% of my business goes to this place!

There is Juicy Vapor on Niagara Falls Blvd.

There is House of Vapor on Kenmore Ave. Andre is great!

There is the Vapor Lounge on Hertel (I haven't been there yet.)

There is Perfection Vapes on Transit and George Urban (new shop, yesterday was my first visit.)

And now I hear there is Crystal Vapes in OP. I'll have to put that one on my hit list.

Yes, we do exist. LOTS of us! :)

Just to put it out there, I have had problems with Juicy Vapor too... They totally lack in the cs department. I've been there at least a dozen times to pick up one or two flavors that I couldn't get at Vapor Trail. They still do not know me by name. Too big, too flashy, too commercial for my tastes. They're not very helpful to newbies either and that's being generous... Just my personal opinion.

I totally agree with you and they seem inconsistent with flavors.

I'm don't live in Buffalo, but work there and live about 20 miles north. Been to JV only once and probably the last. Prices are sky high. Have not been to any other of the 3 places mentioned, as I make my own juice and get my hardware online. Please be sure to sign the petition and let your voices be known - FDA wants to squash us.
