I have been vaping for about 6 months now. I build my own coils and juices. I have now started making my own extracts as well. Now I am about to build my first mechanical mod. I plan to make it out of copper and want it to be full mech -without any wires or circuitry. Where I need help is building an adjustable 510 connector and a side push button. I have mods with bottom buttons but want a side button this time. Can anyone post pictures of their buttons and connectors or provide any advice?

Here are a few cad images of a design that is - simple, highly flexible in both final configuration and adaptability to individual manufacturing capabilities, and... by use of relatively large, tapered contact surfaces - would provide excellent continuity and wear self-adjustment.

Thanks. I love this image and would love to build it this way. I have tried to find a rivet like shown in the sketch at hardware stores but cannot find it. Can't find large diameter brass rods as well. All I can find are very small diameter. Any idea where to find these?
