hey everyone, anyone, IT WORKS!! IT WORKS!! hahaha!! i'm so dang jazzed right now, i have never built anything, and i'm kind of girlyish so i was sort of surprised that i was interested in doing this. i had alot of fun making it (also had alot of setbacks, it took me hours to make this) and i was expecting it not to work given that on the madvapes forum it states you might go through 2-3 before you get it right.
i did read alot on this forum before i even ordered the kit from madvapes. i studied the box mod tutorials on here. looked over the pictures and studied the wiring, etc until it was (is) etched into my brain! i also bought a soldering gun and practiced soldering random crap for a week or so before i started. that was a really good idea because i was scared of the soldering gun at first.
i definitely learned what to do as i went along. i'd have to say the hardest part is getting the right amount of solder on there. i kept globbing it, would have to get some of it off, or take it all off and start over. i also kind of know what i will do different next time and i'm sure it won't take me hours again, lol. i also bought a 5V mod kit so i will be doing that next.
i also want to build an atomiser, that 'atomiser for life' thread is the one i have been reading and studying. i already have most of the materials and have removed the 510 connector and atty piece from the aluminum shells (wasn't hard to do like i thought).
thanks to everyone on here who posts their experience and their pics of their mods. looking at the photos helps immensely. that's it for now. bye-bye!
