Today I picked up an Atomic EHpro clone to try my hand at rebuilding. On my first try, I built an (almost) perfect 1.2 ohm single coil. I also learned why people drip a lower nic level. Pinging off the walls here! :rickroll::rickroll::banana::banana:

It wasn't near as hard as I thought. My next attempt will be dual coils. :vapor:

It is a VERY rewarding hobby, just make sure you have read up on your builds. I recommend Rip Trippers of YouTube if you need inspiration, or advice, never shy with this guy (current leader IMO). Also, remember that if you built a dual-coil at that current 1.2 ohm, normally it would drop to HALF (assuming 2 x same wraps) to .6 ohm. THAT IS SUB ohm, and can increase your nic intake (at once) even further, also raises safety concerns for someone just starting out.

Tell us more about what mod / mechanical are you firing it on and what gauge wire. Are you using cotton or silica?

Just remember if you build two coils exactly like your first one your actual resistance will only be 0.6 ohms. If you aren't wanting to go that low, you will need to adjust how you build the coils. If you have an Android device, you can use Vaper's Toolbox to help figure out the adjustments and "theory craft" the perfect setup.

No pics, it looks like an Ewok. Lol! The Atomic came with stock wire and silica, just enough to build one coil (on a dual coil RBA?). I used the wire which I estimate at 30g, and used my own cotton. I've ordered more wire to try a duel coil. I'm using an MVP 2 since I don't plan on building sub-ohm coils. Yet. ;)

Okay, I re-wicked it with sterile cotton and took pics. Same coil, registering 1.3 ohms and tasting yummy with some BWB malty toffee on it. :D:vapor:

mvp 2 is great for building, since you can check the ohms before firing it up. You'll need something else when you go sub-ohm. I didn't find dual coils all that exciting, but time will tell...however you will be happy to know that after a couple dozen coils your hands will have some muscle memory to go with the process, and it will be even more fun to do!
