Thanks Doc. Going to start buying larger quantity but hesitant to pull the trigger until I know how it tastes. Ordered 120ml off Wizard to sample. Can't do that from Vapor World, smallest bulk size they carry is one liter. A friend had ordered bulk before a few years back from a supplier outside the U.S. (ecigfair I think was the name), and the product tasted terrible, with a strong medicine kinda taste, like a Vicks or Nyquill flavor. If we like the Wizard Lab sample, that will probably be the one. I would like to sample Vapor World as well, but not at a liter minimum. A gallon of the 100mg at Wizard, will most likely be what we end up going with if the sample goes well.

My test sample of 2.4 % Wizard arrived and I am very pleased! This is so good not sure if I want to test sample Heartland, although their prices do look better. Not sure where either sources the nicotine, but I think I read Wizard is US made nicotine. Heartland may be cheaper because they source nicotine from Alchem? Anyway regardless of the source this is tasting pretty good so I may decided to stick with Wizard. I set aside 60ml for my friend and a vial of flavor. Out of my 60ml, I did 10ml of the 2.4 VG solution and 10ml of Humco VG (going 100%VG). To my 20ML 1.2% solution I added 1ml of Cinnamon Roll flavor. 5% flavoring (20 to 1) turned out for my tastes to be just about right. No overpowering flavor, clean tasting, but most important, absolutely no medicinal kind of taste. Dripping on a single coil vertical build .6Ω in a TOBH atty. Think I am going to pull the trigger on (4) 500 ML bottles at a cost of around $100. Going to get my freezer stocked! If Heartland sold 120ml bottles of the 2.4 to sample, I would probably give it a shot, but they smallest they have is one liter size, I do like Heartlands priced though on gallons.

MFS is running a sale on nic. Coupon code is NIC20JULY for 20% off. I picked up another 2 liters of 100mg/ml. I think I am approaching my lifetime supply (if I hadn't already lol).

I've never tried any other nic so I can't say if it's better or worse than any other. I can say I've never noticed any taste at all. Seems very clean and completely neutral.

Last I heard, neither is US made and neither sources from Alchem.

Vapers Tek "throat hit" is my favorite and is reasonably priced.

I new in the DIY arena, I picked up some 48mg NicSelect. I have been reading around the DIY threads educating myself and have seen a few nic vendors mentioned but I never see NicSelect in the conversation. Is there something wrong with them, or are they being referred to by another name?
Visited the site. Did not find how to order.
They are redistributors of Alchem nicotine, their site is full of marketing bullmanure, like labelling their nic as "premium" and statements like this one which can be applied to any nicotine sold in the USA:
NicSelect® is naturally extracted from tobacco plants, and never synthetically produced. Read more about Alchem International and its long and distinguished history of making pharmaceutical-grade plant-based chemicals.

Okay, does Alchem have a reputation associated with their nic, is Nic Select on their own in redistributing the Alchem brand, or are there others, maybe more popular?

The liquid nicotine alchem currently makes they have branded NicSelect, and the nicselect site is an informational site from alchem about there product and where vendors can order wholesale, not retail.

The nic has coa's of every batch and is extremelly pure, like e.g. chemnovatic and nudenicotine(going by there coa's) and one of the plants in india got inspected by the fda back in 2012 and declared as acceptable by them.

There have previously been reported strange tastes/smells like rubbery and such, but I believe that they have come over this issue now. That was reported to be related to the different kinds of tobacco used, as opposed to e.g. just stems, and also what "stuff" the tobacco draws up through the soil etc.

The nic is not as neutral like e.g. chemnovatic's(vapers tek/inawera/pink-mule and own-brand), but has a pleasant nic taste and smell i.e. woody/nutty/damp-tobacco'y.

If you're interessted, then I quoted a reply about there quality from the vice-precident of alchem, back in the latter posts of the nicotine comparissons thread...
