So my ego type A & B drip tips arrived today and they are a perfect fit in the A2-T and A2-MT. So here are the working theories on dripping so far:

1) Remove wick plate from center section and drip away.

2) Drill very small hole in upper A2-T or A2-MT section to be able to drip without needing center section. It appears that a hole at the very top edge of the bottom coil section threads would work well and not allow too much leaking from over dripping.

3) If you are careful with your drip there is no need to drill a hole in your A2-T and A2-MT top sections, all you have to do to get airflow is unscrew the top section 1/8 -1/4 turn and you're good to vape your brains out. It's also smaller that when using the center section and looks a bit cooler to me as well.

Also if you make your coils traditional A2 style push the wick down around the bottom of the coil to soak up excess drippage and no leaks unless you squirt in the juice. And if you really want to play it safe stick some extra wick down around the coil posts too and you can get 20 or 30 drops in there without leaking.

Hey wind with all your drilling and messing around is there a way to use this with our bottom feeders.

Yep for dripping I love it and was quite surprised that I liked the 701 cart on it.

I have plans to shorten the tube on at least one and build a top feed mod out of it. with a VV unit for adjusting the power.

Oh I am also looking for the 701 tips with out the cart attached if any one knows where to find them.

The cartridge part of the 701 tips quite easily pop off. Doubt you can find them without the carts.

Okay, straight up A2 Dripping

It works and you don't have to drill any holes but the A2 tube is a bit long and you will need a 701-510 drip tip adapter, which are pretty rare and hard to find right now.

This one works but you do have to unscrew the A2-T top section about a turn to do get a decent airflow.

The threads on this one are perfect so no airflow without having to drill a very small hole. I'm now thinking of two possibilities. 1) drill small hole just below the thread line to the center or bottom coil sections so that when fully screwed down there will be no airflow so it can be used in cartridge mode without the extra airflow of the second hole, and when you want to use the section to drip just unscrew so a bit of the new air hole will let the air flow. 2) Possibly a small hole drilled in the drip tip itself just above the top of the top section. Or dremel out a channel along the length of the drip tip so that air can flow through the channel and down hopefully to the coil, one worry is that the 0-ring will expand to fill the channel.

So dripping can be done but how much of a potential hassle are you willing to put up with? Personally I'm thinking that a very small hole drilled in the top sections of the A2-T and A2-MT that can be closed off when screwed down onto the center or bottom sections and opened up with say a 1/2 turn might be the most tolerable option so far. I'll have to get up the nerve to drill the hole to see for certain if it works. So let me think on this one a bit, okay?

This is working great as a wick, been hitting it hard and no burnt taste, As soon as my extra carts get here I will start experimenting to make a bonut dripper for the A2. I have had no problem with shorting using the SS wicks but I am very careful to oxidize them properly in the finished form and then not poke them much to remove the oxidation. IMO the A2 is now a usable atty.

What size ss mesh are you using in this picture?

The air would be traveling upwards so possibly even better airflow, but of course we won't know until somebody tries it. I'm just throwing out ideas here as they pop up. We're all trying to figure out how to get our A2's to work in as many configurations as possible. My personal inclination at the moment is to use the A2 section as a carto and drip setup and to dedicate the upper MegaT section to pure dripping by drilling a hole in it. Also there is the other option of drilling a hole in our top sections and covering it with an o-ring, rubber band or tape when we want to use it in tank mode. One of us geniuses will figure something out I am certain.

Great pics again Wing, you have a gift when it comes to photography, so if you ever want to go in business with ads, I'll do the writing, you do the pics LOL.

Still waiting on mine here but when I decided to get this there were only like 2 of those 710 adapters left on Vapor-Age, so figured better get one while I can.

Still have to get up the nerve to drill a hole in one of my A2-T or A2-MT top sections but I have a feeling that I'll be doing so soon. Besides using a rubber band or o-ring to cover the hole when in tank mode might make it look even cooler than it already looks.

Have you found a DT that will fit the top of the A2-T tank
