MX the ego type A drip tip fits the A2-T top section and the ego type B drip tip fits the A2-MegaT top section.

Now I just had another one of those DUH, why didn't I think of that sooner moments. 701 carts are dirt cheap at around $4 for 5, so what if you sawed off the top of the plastic 701 T Tip and drilled out the center to fit a drip tip? I think I shall try this one right now. If it works then we get all the 701-510 drip tip adapters we want at around a dollar a piece. If it doesn't work out that it can be used as a 510 drip tip adapter then it could still be used as a drip tip but cutting off the top of the T Tip and drilling a slightly larger center hole using the center hole as its own guide to do so.

Aceyboogie: did this the other day and told me it works rely good. Just don't drill the hole to big or you have to start over LOL.

I just ordered 5 boxes of blank carts. LOL I am stocked up :)

My A2-T does not fire on a Provari, need to put an 510-510 adapter to make it work, anybody else having this?

Emonty, try wiping the very base of the A2-T. I was having the same exact problem and after I gave it a little wipe in the point of contact from the A2, it worked like a charm :)

If you're having a problem firing your A2 check that the positive free floating connection on the bottom of the A2 hasn't been pushed in by another mod's connector. If your A2's center positive post is set below the rest of the 510 connection it's been pushed in at some point. Get yourself a pin or paper clip and gently ease the center pin up to about flush with the outer 510 threads and you should be good to go.

Just figured out the $1 701 to 510 adapter mod

First you saw off most of the T Tip. Use a dremel and a small cone diamond or stone bit to drill out the initial center hole. Then use a larger cone bit to widen the hole. Finally you get a cylinder diamond or stone bit and gently ream out the hole testing with a drip tip for fit until you get it just right. The whole process only takes a couple minutes and most of that is checking for final fit of your drip tip.

Wing, here's my emulated "510" bulli A2-T. It hits like a horse. Warmth, flavor and throat hit are all included. I soaked my wick in Kraken rum and dried it up in the oven. WOW !!! I can attest to the fact that no other atomizer that I have ever bought compares to this, and again, I mean in every category.

Alright Nicblazer!

Looks like you pulled the center plate and got a piece of tubing to adapt your drip tip to fit into the center section. Also looks like you used a bit more tubing or a transparent rubber band to seal off the center to bottom connection. NICE!

Wing, you gotta give it a try. It's unreal. I've kept getting: "Wow ! The flavor is amazing on this." when I took this little mod up to the lab in my workplace for the guys to give it a try. All of them vape.

I told you all that we're a bunch of freakin' geniuses! Since the beginning of this thread we've figured out more ways to get vapor into our lungs than I think any of us ever thought possible. Now all we have to do is figure out how to turn our A2's into bottom feeding attys so we can use em' on our REO's.

I'm loving my new $1 Po' Man's Drip Tip Adapter! I did notice that the cartotip I used was actually a 4081 and not a 701 it still fits but there are less threads and the 4081's only catch on the last thread or two, so they are looser than the 701 cartotips until they catch on that last thread or two. But, who cares it's a freakin' 4081 to 510 $1 drip tip adapter.

Wing, one last thing before I end up burning my dinner.

I know I've bought this http://i52.tinypic.com/2nicei1.jpg from Gotvapes.com, I just can't remember the name though. You can add this to your modification posted above for dripping and driving :) Also for people that don't still have the a2-t and want to simulate it's function.
